Propagation of plane seismic waves (theory and algorithms)

Abstract

The theory development of the propagation of plane non-linear seismic waves is the aim of the paper as well as the algorithm development and the formulation of calculation experiments for conditions, approximate to the solution of practical problems. As a result the new numerical method for the solution of the plane vector wave interaction problem has been developed as well as the new method and algorithm for the solution of monotype plane vector wave propagation problem. The method of the approximate calculation of a non-linear elasticity module, determining the wave speed, has been suggested. The dependence of the propagating wave type on the orientation of vectors of internal and external forces has been proved.
