APPLICATION OF THE ASYMPTOTICAL METHOD TO THE ANALYSIS OF A PANEL FLUTTER

Abstract

The application of the asymptotical method of Bolotin to the determination of boundaries of a panel flutter and amplitudes of steady-state vibrations for plane panels is the aim of the paper. As a result a stability problem for plane preliminary extended plates has been solved. Vibrations of panels on a boundary of stability and in a field of instability have been investigated. The problem has been solved for various methods of the fastening of panel edges.
