There the study methods are the machining methods, the quality of surface layer of parts and the corrosion resistance of parts after the machining, the specimens of surface roughness. The purpose is to develop the scientific foundations of process providing for the corrosion resistance of parts in the structural low-alloyed steels in the machining. The scientific approach to the providing for corrosion resistance of articles in the machining has been developed for the first time. The theoretical equation of dependence of corrosion resistance of parts on the quality indeces of their surface layers has been obtained. The prediction procedure of corrosion resistance of parts on the strength of machining conditions has been developed. The algorithm and the programs to compute the optimum cutting speeds which provide for the necessary corrosion resistance of parts have been developed. The recommendations to rise the corrosion resistance of articles in the machining have been presented.
