BED PROCESSES AND EROSION FORMS

Abstract

The aim is to create the single scientific conception in context of the self-regulating system "basin - river flow - bed" based on the unity of the hydraulic regularities relatively to the bodies and their surfaces fprmed spontaneously by a turbulent flow. The method of hydraulic ichthyology-bed analogy has been proposed. The physical sense of the Lochtin number has been substantiated. The investigation results are used for designs of the hydraulic resistances, consumption of the alluviums, contaminating substances, intensity of the pond and reservoir silting, evaluation of the soil erosion on the water catchment area.
