DISTRIBUTION AND TRANSFORMATION OF HEAVY METAL COMPOUNDS (Cu, Zn, Ni, Pb, Cd) IN ECOLOGICAL SYSTEMS

Abstract

The new fundamental knowledge base about transformation and transfer of heavy metals in the ecological systems of Central Russia has been obtained, the cause-effect bonds determining the functioning and dynamics character of the studied processes on base of the mathematical modelling have been revealed and described quantitatively. The information bank for drawing-up programs, methods and creation of the information-experimental data at performance of the ecological-geochemical monitoring and landscape-ecological zoning has been created, the map of soil contamination with the heavy metals in the Upper Oka basin territory on a 2200000 scale has been drawn up. The methods for analysis of the solid-phase components in ecological systems are used in the background monitoring points. The methodical manual on the soil contamination evaluation and landscape-ecological zoning has been recommended to the regional ecological policies. The results obtained have been used at drawing up maps of the landscape-ecological zoning of the Oka basin territory (Russia)Available from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
