LOG-Luft. Logistische Optimierung der Guetertransportkette - Luftfracht Abschlussbericht

Abstract

The objective of the documented project was to develop a general and compatible EDP system for freight data exchange on Frankfurt Airport and to prove its functionality during pilot operation. The different EDP systems of the airfreight partners involved were to be interconnected within an open communications network by means of front-end processors. Under this project the applicable standards from the areas of communication and data processing were to be applied. The exchange of documents was designed to avoid redundant acquisition of identical documents with the respective participants and to enable disposition and sequence improvements. Within the framework of this project, a front-end processor (FEP) was installed at FAG for pilot operation in order to connect the Cargo Information System (CIS) of FAG airfreight processing to the DATEX-P network of Deutsche Bundespost. (orig./RHM)Die Zielsetzung des dokumentierten Projektes war ein allgemeins und uebertragbares EDV-System zum Frachtdatenaustausch auf dem Flughafen Frankfurt zu entwickeln und in einem Pilotbetrieb den Nachweis der Funktionalitaet zu erbringen. Die unterschiedlichen EDV-Anlagen der Luftfrachtpartner sollten mit Hilfe von Front-End-Prozessoren in einem offenen Kommunikationsnetz verbunden werden. Im Projekt sollten die gueltigen Standards aus den Bereichen Kommunikation und Datenverarbeitung angewandt werden. Mit dem Dokumentenaustausch sollen Mehrfacherfassungen der gleichen Dokumente bei den jeweiligen Teilnehmern vermieden und Dispositions- und Ablaufverbesserungen ermoeglicht werden. Im Rahmen des Vorhabens wurde bei der FAG fuer den Pilotbetrieb ein Front-End-Prozessor (FEP) installiert, der das Cargo Information System (CIS) der Luftfrachtabfertigung der FAG an das Datex-P-Netz der Deutschen Bundespost anschliesst.
