Abstract

This chapter presents a conceptual framework for studying urban performance from a transportation perspective in effort to identify and define research issues and concepts related to urban performance. A key concept in this framework is accessibility, which is defined and analysed in section 'Infrastructure, Accessibility and Reach'.
