Abstract

This report describes work carried out by the British Geological Survey to resolve the longstanding issue of ‘foundered strata’ on the 1:50,000 scale geological map of Bath (Sheet 265), and to investigate the nature of landsliding and cambering on the slopes around the city of Bath.
