Bath's 'foundered strata' : a re-interpretation

Abstract

This report describes work carried out by the British Geological Survey to resolve the longstanding issue of ‘foundered strata’ on the 1:50,000 scale geological map of Bath (Sheet 265), and to investigate the nature of landsliding and cambering on the slopes around the city of Bath. The report describes the accompanying landslide map and explains the methodology behind it
