Photoaffinity Labeling of Small-Molecule-Binding Proteins by DNA-Templated Chemistry

Abstract

DNA-templated affinity labeling: Accurate characterization of small-molecule (SM)-protein interactions is one of the most important but also very challenging tasks in chemical biology and drug discovery. A novel method named DNA-programmed photoaffinity labeling is reported. The introduction of DNA encoding and template effect enable multiplexed protein labeling by multiple probes.
