Primary actinomycosis of the abdominal wall

Abstract

Abdominal actinomycosis is uncommon and primary actinomycosis of the abdominal wall is very rare. Berardi and Moines, in a collected review in 1979, described only three cases of primary abdominal wall actinomycosis. Other isolated case reports, however, are to be found in the medical literature. The rarity of this condition prompted this report of two patients recently treated with primary actinomycosis of the abdominal wall.link_to_subscribed_fulltex
