Jednakże – czy jednak+że?

By Anna Kisiel

Abstract

The article delivers an introductory study of language units that include a genetic clitic -ż(e) in their structure. To illustrate the problem the pair jednak – jednakże is examined. The author does not support the hypothesis that jednak has two meanings and shows that it is wrong to seek for different meanings of a metatextual unit basing on grammatical differences of contexts, in which the unit can occure. The final part of the article presents usage blockade set up for jednakże in comparision with jednak and a semantic difference between the language units.status: publishe
