A Signer Writes a Letter in Verse

Abstract

Coad brings to our attention two letters written in verse in the Rutgers Library by signers of the Declaration of Independence.  There are a letter from James McHenry ( 1753–1816) to Charles Carroll (1737–1832) and Carroll's reply to McHenry.  The Carroll letter is transcribed
