JACQUES DE MÉLANGE ET DE GUZMÁN : UN POÈTE ET ROMANCIER DE LA FONDATION DU PÉROU

Abstract

Este artículo presenta la obra en verso y en prosa del escritor prerrenacentista Diego de Silva y Guzmán. Explica su papel en los inicios de la creación literaria castellana en el Perú y América. Comenta la importancia del Poema del descubrimiento del Perú y de La toma del Cuzco, que son, respectivamente, el primer libro de poesía y la primera novela escritos en español con temas del Nuevo Mundo.This article presents the work in verse and prose of the pre-Renaissance writer Diego de Silva and Guzmán. It explains his role in the beginnings of the Spanish literary creation in Peru and Latin America. It discusses the importance of the Poema del descubrimiento del Perú (Poem of the discovery of Peru and La toma del Cuzco (The Occupation of Cuzco), which are, respectively, the first book of poetry and the first novel written in Spanish with themes of the New World.Cet article présente l’oeuvre dans un vers et dans prose de l’écrivain prerrenacentista Jacques de Mélange et de Guzmán.
