Améliorations récentes apportées au Van de Graaff de 2 MeV de l'école polytechnique

Abstract

This paper describes some recent improvements of the 2 MeV Van de Graaff of the « École Polytechnique de Paris» : Rf Ion source, stabilisation of the high voltage electrode, absolute electrostatic analysor, regulated high voltage rf power supply, focusing etc... This was made in order to improve the precision, stability and operation of this machine. A brief description is given of the first experimental results obtained with this Van de Graaff.On décrit les améliorations et modifications apportées au Van de Graaff de 2 MeV de l'École Polytechnique pour en faire un appareil de haute précision et d'un maniement commode. On donne rapidement les premiers résultats expérimentaux obtenus avec cet appareil
