Video Copy Detection Using Spatio-Temporal and Texture Features

Abstract

Abstract — Content based feature extraction is a mechanism which is mainly used for applications like copyright application, video browsing etc. The main aim of the paper is to find illegal copies of the video in an efficient manner.This proposed paper discusses on detection of illegal copies of video clips that can be done through Spatiotemporal and texture features which is one among the efficient features available. To begin with, a special image TIRI is extracted from the video. Each such image has short segments of the video and it also contains both spatial as well as temporal information. The information extracted is expressed in the form of binary fingerprints. Now we have to apply CCM to extract texture features. Combine the two above said features to find copied videos in a quick manner. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms, a test set of 200 videos are taken. This proposed algorithm yields 98 % of efficiency for finding illegal copies of video
