Abstract-- This work presents an enhanced model as an alternative to conventional Radio site survey approaches in indoor WLAN environment. The Model partitions the testbed into large squares such as 4x4 meters, 7x4 meters, etc as required. Several Strength measurements were taken at the boundaries of these squares to obtain the average received signal strength values at these boundaries. The model was used to estimate the RSS values at specified interior points. Results obtained showed that the RSS values obtained by using actual measurement at specified points differ from the results obtained by about ±5dBm. This model will be of utmost importance for engineering and technicians involved in WLAN design and implementation
