Minimun history of POUM: a party against the current

Abstract

The Working of Marxist Unification Party was founded during the Second Spanish Republic under secrecy. It was a short life due to the politics problems which appeared in Spain after the beginning of Spanish Civil War: revolution, counterrevolution, "The May events", etc. Moreover, there were others enemies out, like Stalin who organized the kidnapping and murder of Andreu Nin, the most important leader of POUM. It caused the illegality and disappearance of POUM. This work analyses a brief history of one of the comunist party less studied in Spain
