Stress in primary care nurses

Abstract

La Organización Internacional del Trabajo y la Organización Mundial de la Salud coinciden en que no solo los factores físicos, químicos y biológicos presentes en el trabajo son importantes en relación con la salud del trabajador. Se han producido grandes avances en el estudio de las variables psicosociales y su relación con el desarrollo del trabajo y los daños en la salud. Las nuevas formas de contratación, la intensificación y exigencias del trabajo, el desequilibrio entre la vida laboral y personal, junto con los factores de riesgo, hacen que el estrés esté muy presente entre el personal del sector sanitario.The International Labor Organization and the World Health Organization agree that not only the physical, chemical and biological factors present in the work are important in relation to the health of the worker. There have been great advances in the study of psychosocial variables and their relation to the development of work and damage to health. The new forms of hiring, the intensification and demands of work, the imbalance between work and personal life, together with the risk factors, make stress very present among the personnel of the health sector
