Abstract

preface since its signing in 2005, the paris Declaration on aid Effectiveness has been one of the – if not “the ” – most important documents guiding the way of doing business for development agencies and partner countries alike. as already foreseen in the Declaration itself, an evaluation under the auspices of the oECD/DaC has been launched to assess the results of the new approach. phase i of the evaluation is to cover mainly inputs and activities and some outputs, whereas in phase ii the outcomes and impacts of the paris Declaration will be assessed.
