New Fuzzy Optimal Assignment Algorithm of Distributed Multi-sensor Multi-target Tracking System ⋆

Abstract

On the problem of distributed multi-sensor multi-target tracking, a new optimal assignment model on the basis of fuzzy data correlation is presented. The new algorithm calculates the fuzzy marginal correlation probability between measurement and target track by using fuzzy integrated similarity degree under multiple-to-multiple feasible rule, and determines the point-track correlation matches by the optimal assignment. In comparison with the corresponding assignment algorithm of distributed multisensor multi-target tracking system based on state estimate, the new algorithm effectively uses the fuzzy membership function to implement the point-track correlation, so the performance of multi-target tracking is improved to some extent. Simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the new algorithm
