It summarizes advising practices including advising as learning, advising in sophomore gatherings, sophomore courses, and faculty-student collaborative research. Colorado College, Connecticut College, St. Lawrence University, and Skidmore College carried out a three-year study of sophomores and liberal learning. We collected quantitative and qualitative data on sophomore engagement and piloted sophomore advising initiatives.- i-Working Group Our working group collaborated on all project activities.
