La creación fotográfica española en el seno de las libertades polítucas y la tolerancia ideológica: un camino despejado hacia el progreso cultural

Abstract

Recorrido por la fotografía española de creación en sus diferentes etapas históricas para comprobar cómo los periodos de ausencia de libertades políticas y de expresión inciden en una clara desaceleración, enquistamiento e interrupción de lo que hubiera sido su desarrollo natural sin ningún tipo de censura. Análisis de las carencias que todavía ofrece el caso español si lo comparamos con el de otros países con un nivel de desarrollo económico, social y cultural equivalente al nuestro pero que no han sufrido la represión ni la dictadura en su pasado reciente. Spanish photographic creation within the bosom of political freedoms and ideological tolerance: a clear path towards cultural progress Abstract: A journey through Spanish photography of creation in its different historical stages to see how the periods of absence of political freedoms and of expression affect a clear deceleration, entrenchment and interruption of what would have been its natural development without any kind of censorship. Analysis of the deficiencies that the Spanish case still offers if we compare it with that of other countries with a level of economic, social and cultural development equivalent to ours but that have not suffered repression or dictatorship in their recent past.
