Abstract

workflow, business object, legacy application integration, business process reengineering Workflow research at HP Labs has evolved through three stages during the past four years. Our effort started with the enhancement of an existing HP workflow product – WorkManager. Then, based on customers ' feedback, a new workflow prototype was developed to support the requirements of enterprise complex business process management. This formed the base for HP’s second generation workflow product – AdminFlow. We are now exploring the third generation of workflow system that supports the Internet computing paradigm.
