Abstract

The DMTF Common Information Model (CIM) is a conceptual information model for describing computing and business entities in Internet, enterprise and service provider environments. It provides a consistent definition and structure of data, using objectoriented techniques. The CIM Schema establishes a common conceptual framework that describes the managed environment. This document reviews the concepts that are currently modeled in the CIM 2.7 Device Model. This paper mirrors the organization of the classes as they are presented in the MOF and UML/Visio diagrams
