Abstract

County Station, Units 1 and 2. The enclosed report documents the inspection findings, which were discussed on September 28, 2007, with the Site Engineering Director, Mr. J. Bashor and other members of your staff. This inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and to compliance with the Commission’s rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspectors reviewed selected calculations, design bases documents, procedures, and records; observed activities; and interviewed personnel. Specifically, this inspection focused on the design of components that were risk significant and had low margin. Based on the results of this inspection, four NRC-identified findings of very low safety significance were identified, all of which involved violations of NRC requirements. However, because these violations were of very low safety significance and because they were entered into your corrective action program, the NRC is treating the issues as Non-Cited Violations in accordance with Section VI.A.1 of the NRC’s Enforcement Policy.
