We discuss the exotic binding properties of the core+n+n systems through systematic studies of light neutron-rich nuclei, He- and Li-isotopes. The core-plus-neutrons model is shown to be very successful in the description of the halo structure and its excitation of 6 He. On the other hand, it is discussed that the core-plus-neutrons model in 11 Li is not so simple. We show that pairing correlation of 9 Li is also very important in the interaction between 9 Li and a valence neutron
