Improving Heuristic Software Analysis with Semantic Information

By C. C. Michael, John Viega, Viren Shah and Jennifer Haddox \lambda

Abstract

Abstract Abductive software analysis (or structural test generation) concerns a heuristic search for conditions in a program that bring about a specific program behavior. The theme of this paper is not techniques for improving the heuristic search process, but rather techniques for improving the heuristics themselves by incorporating more information about software semantics
