Interface Concepts for Command & Control Tasks Summary

Abstract

This paper addresses new inter$ace concepts for iqformation visualisation and manipulation in Command and Control. These concepts,focus on the use of multiple views on the tactical situation to enhance situational awareness and to improve situation assessment. Topics covered include the application of 30 perspective and stereoscopic displays. [NTRODUCTION With command and control operations becoming increasingly more complex, there is a growing need for research on and development of effective command support tools.
