Bibliograficzne bazy danych w ocenie pracowników i jednostek szkół wyższych w Polsce

Abstract

The aim of the article is to present how the bibliographic databases are used for the valuation of scientific institutions. Special attention is paid to bibliographies of the staff of Polish universities and colleges and to Polish Scholarly Bibliography. The types of documents registered in the bibliographic databases are compared with the world databases, especially with Web of Science. The possibilities of cooperation between databases in the field of the scientific institutions assessment are also presented
