Pensar en móvil: las apps, una opción para incursionar en bibliotecas universitarias

Abstract

The article describes the use of mobile devices, especially smartphones, the characteristics and trends of communications, both internationally and nationally. The processes that can be carried out to adapt to the mobility environment are addressed, through web design and with greater emphasis on apps. Its characteristics, specifications, principles and objectives are analyzed. In this context of mobility, apps are considered in university libraries, as an option for the diffusion of services and communication with users.
