Abstract

This article describes a preliminary investigation into the extraction and interpretation of web log data to assess the use being made of the information skills units within the INFORMS Project database. It discusses the specific data retrieved. This data is compared against the known use being made of some of the units within the information skills teaching on a few modules at the project partner sites. The investigation was undertaken over the period October-December 2002 and the complete text of the research is available on the INFORMS website
