Abstract

This issue of IDEA looks at why similar policies and reforms produce very different results in a variety of countries. It draws from the 2006 IPES, The Politics of Policies, to examine the actors involved in the policymaking process, the stages on which they perform and how the policymaking process plays out in countries throughout Latin America.
