DEVELOPMENT OF AMPEROMETRIC BIOSENSORS IN A FLOW INJECTION MANIFOLD.

Abstract

A COMPUTER CONTROLLED FLOW INJECTION SYSTEM INCORPORATING AMBEROMETRIC DETE- CTION AND ENZYME REACTORS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF GLYCEROL AND MALIC ACID INSEVERAL FOODSTUFS IS DESCRIBED. THE DETERMINATION OF CITRIC ACID IN FRESH FRUIT USING AN AMBEROMETRIC BI-ENZYME ELECTRODE IS ALSO DESCRIBED. THE SUCCESSIVE APPLICATION OF THE METHODS WAS CONFIRMED BY COMPARISON WITH A REFERENCE METHOD. THE MEAN RELATIVE ERRORS WERE 2,2%, 3,0% AND 2,4% RESPECTIVELY.
