    Abstract: Effect of Hand Puppet on Elementary School Students’ Listening Story Content Skills in Javanese Language Subject. Purpose of this research was to describe; (1) elementary school students listening story content skills in the javanese language subject, (2) process of listening story content in the javanese language subject, (3) Effect of hand puppet on elementary school students listening story content skills in a javanese language subject. Research subjects were elementary school’ students Class IIA (control group) and elementary school’ students Class IIA (experiment group). Data was collected using experiment technique. Data analysis used t-test. Research result showed there were a difference in learning achievement among class II students who were following learning with the hand puppet media and students who were following learning without the hand puppet media.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: (1) kemampuan menyimak isi dongeng mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa, (2) proses menyimak isi dongeng mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa, dan (3) pengaruh penggunaan media boneka tangan terhadap kemampuan menyimak dongeng mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD kelas IIA (kelompok kontrol) dan siswa SD kelas IIB (kelompok eksperimen). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik eksperimen. Analisis data menggunakan teknik uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan hasil belajar kemampuan menyimak isi dongeng Bahasa Jawa yang signifikan antara siswa kelas II yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media boneka tangan dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan media boneka tangan.Kata Kunci: menyimak isi dongeng, media boneka tangan, S

    Abstract: Developing model of literacy teaching narration writing focused with a probing-prompting technique in elementary schools. Purpose of the research was to describe teachers’ knowledge toward teaching models, teaching materials, and teachers’ perception about of an implementation model of literacy teaching narration writing focused with a probing-prompting technique in elementary schools. The data sources were description about model of literacy teaching, teaching materials, andteachersperception of implementation model of literacy teaching narration writing focused in elementary school. On the basis of data analysis, results showed teachers’ knowledge toward literacy teaching where 28.34% very positive and 63.17% positive. Teaching materials needed were 15.22% very positive and 51.11% positive, and teachers’ perception toward teaching models were 11.53 very positive and 28.47 % positive.Keywords: model, literacy, probing-prompting, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengetahuan guru tentang model pembelajaran, bahan pembelajaran, dan persepsi guru tentang model pelaksanaan pembelajaran literasi fokus menulis narasi dengan Teknik Probing-Prompting di SD.     Abstract: The developmental study was intended to find out the test result of the effectiveness of writing teaching and learning by using Whole Language approach; and to obtain the appropriateness of the writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach at Elementary schools. The steps of the study included preliminary study, model development, model try out, and dissemination. The results of the study suggested that (1) the writing competence of the students who learnt writing by using Whole Language approach was better than those who learnt writing conventionally; and (1) writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach could be accepted by the stakeholders well.Keywords: writing skills, Whole Language approach, elementary schools.Abstrak: penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menemukan hasil uji efektivan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar; dan mendapatkan keberterimaan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar.     Abstract: Guided inquiry model in teaching water conservation concept in fifth grade of elementary school. Purpose of the research was to determine influence inquiry teaching on process learning achievement, measuring process skills, cooperation competency, students’ questioning competency. Type of research was descriptive and experimental. Results of the research were the guided inquiry teaching influenced on product learning achievement, the guided inquiry learning influenced on process learning achievement, students’ process skills when they involved in guided inquiry learning were categorized good, guided inquiry learning improved students; cooperation, and guided inquiry learning improved students’ questioning competency.Keywords: guided inquiry, water conservation, product, process, elementary school.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan menentukan pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar proses, mengukur keterampilan proses, kemampuan kerjasama, dan kemampuan bertanya siswa.     PERSPEKTIF METAKOGNITIF GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    Abstracts: Teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in elementary schools’ mathematic teaching.  The purpose of this research was to describe  teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in elementary schools’ mathematic teaching in the Malang Region. The approach of the research was quantitative and qualitative. The subjects were 123 elementary schools’ teachers at Malang Region. Data were collected by instrument and interview.  The collected data were analyzed by means and frequency.  Research results showed that in general, elementary schools’ teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in the consciousness , cognitive strategy, and planning and  re-study  aspects was in a good category. Specifically,   elementary schools’ teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in teaching mathematic: (1) means of the consciousness aspect was 2.91, (2) means of the a cognitive strategy aspect was 2.75, (3) means of a planning aspect was 2.83, (4) means of a re-study aspect was 2.52.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif metakognitif guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) dalam pembelajaran matematika di Kabupaten Malang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian guru SD di Kabupaten Malang sebanyak 123 orang. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen dan wawancara. Analisis dengan rata-rata dan frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum perspektif metakognitif guru-guru SD pada aspek kesadaran, strategi kognitif, perencanaan, dan mengkaji ulang termasuk kategori baik. Secara khusus perspektif metakognitif guru dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah: (1) pada aspek kesadaran mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,91, (2) aspek strategi kognitif mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,75, (3) aspek perencanaan mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,83, dan (4) aspek mengkaji ulang mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,52

    Abstract: Developing Thematic Learning Model for Early Class in Elementary School. The purpose of the research was to describe: 1) the problems faced by early class elementary schools’ teacher in thematic teaching; (2) Developing learning module of mathematic for early class in elementary schools. The research used 4D model, i.e. define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research subjects were 34 (17 teachers of core elementary school and 17 SD/MI) early class elementary schools’ teachers in 17 counties, Bantul Region. Data collection used observation, interview, and FGD. Steps of data analysis were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Research result concluded that early class teachers faced problems: (a) Their understanding of thematic learning concept was low; (b) Difficulty in developing thematic learning teaching materials, (c) Their understanding toward concept of learning outcomes and the implementation also was low. The thematic Model can be developed based on handbook following steps: basic competency mapping, implementation theme web.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1)permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru kelas awal sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran tematik; (2) pengembangan modul pembelajaran tematik kelas awal sekolah dasar.Penelitian menggunakan model 4D, yaitu tahapan define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian guru kelas awal sekolah sasar (SD) dari 17 kecamatan di Kabupaten Bantul berjumlah 34 orang yang diambil secara acak, terdiri 17 guru SD intidan 17 guru SD/MI. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan FGD.Teknik analisis data dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa guru kelas awal menghadapi permasalahan: (a) pemahaman terhadap konsep pembelajaran tematik masih rendah, (b) kesulitan dalam mengembangkan materi ajar dalam pembelajaran tematik, (c) pemahaman terhadap konsep evaluasi hasil belajar dan implementasinya juga masih rendah.     Abstract: "Education for all" paradigm in inclusion teaching practices at elementary school in Malang city. Inclusive education involved special needs’ students to learn together with normal children in regular schools. In field condition, teachers in regular schools are not prepared to teach special needs’ students. The purpose of this fundamental research was to develop basic concepts about the teacher behavior related to inclusion education in handling special needs’ students and their behavior problems in the classroom. The research was conducted at five elementary schools in Malang. Interview, observation, documentation and FGD were used data collection methods. Results showed: (1) teachers had been working independently to develop their knowledge and skill in coping with special needs’ students, (2) sustainable guidance should be conducted, (3) stakeholder support should be improved, (4) there were some schools had not adequate facilities and therapy rooms. Abstrak: Paradigma "education for all" dalam praktik pembelajaran inklusi di sekolah dasar kota Malang. Pendidikan Inklusi mengikutsertakan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) belajar bersama anak normal di sekolah reguler. Kondisi di lapangan, guru di sekolah reguler tidak dididik secara khusus untuk menghadapi ABK. Penelitian fundamental ini bertujuan menyusun konsep dasar tentang perilaku guru berwawasan pendidikan inklusi dalam penanganan ABK dan perilaku bermasalah di kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lima SD di kota Malang. Observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan FGD digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) guru secara mandiri telah berupaya mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan menangani ABK, (2) pembinaan secara berkelanjutan sangat diperlukan, (3) perlu peningkatan dukungan stakeholder, (4) beberapa sekolah belum memiliki sarana dan ruang terapi yang memadai.     Abstract: Esthetic and typology of elementary children’s picture. The purpose of this research was to describe: (1) the diversity of theme, title, form/  object of children’s picture, (2) Period of children’s drawing, (3) Typology  and impression of children’ drawing space, (4) Visualization of children’s picture components, (5) picture media and art technique in the children’s picture. The design of the research was descriptive  qualitative. The subjects were 2009-2011 children’s pictures in East Java Province. Research result showed:  (1) the diversity of themes  and pictures’ title was a representation form  of  creative thinking, uniqueness  representation, effective, and variety impression among pictures. (2) Most of esthetic of typology, style and picture space impression  can be typed visual and a few can be   seen haptic. (3) A visual component of  Line, color, form, field, and texture were more dominant, while space and light components were not always appear in every children’s picture. (4) the diversity of the picture media were: pencil, color pencil, crayon, little marker, big marker, water verf, and ballpoint.Abstrak: penelitian ini tujuannya mendeskripsikan: (1) keragaman tema, judul, bentuk/obyek gambar anak, (2) periodisasi menggambar anak, (3) tipologi dan kesan ruang gambar anak, (4) visualisasi unsur rupa gambar anak-anak, (5) media rupa dan teknik seni pada gambar anak. Rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, subyeknya gambar anak SD di Jawa Timur tahun 2009-2011. Analisis kesenirupaan berupa penyajihan data dalam paparan deskriptif estetika dan tipologi gambar anak. Hasil penelitian: (1) keragaman tema, judul gambar adalah wujud representasi gagasan kreatif, keunikan, ekspresi dari pengalaman, realitas, imajinatif yang bermakna budaya dan lainnya. Gambar anak memiliki nilai estetis spesifik, menarik, dinamis, lugas, dan tidak sama kesannya antara satu gambar dengan gambar lainnya. (2) Estetika tipologi, gaya, dan kesan ruang gambar umumnya bertipe Visual, dan sedikit bertipe Haptic. (3) Unsur visual garis, warna, bentuk/bangun, bidang, dan tekstur lebih dominan, sedangkan unsur ruang dan cahaya tidak selalu tampak pada setiap karya gambar anak.     Abstract: The developmental study was intended to produce the training model of creative teaching and learning which fulfilled the criteria of expediency, appropriateness, and relevance theoretically and practically. The research steps included preliminary study, planning of early form of the model, expert validation, the try out of the model, and the revision of the model. The results of the study was a model of training model of creative teaching and learning for elementary school teachers along with the guidelines and the media which had high appropriateness theoretically and practically.Keywords: training model, creative teaching and learning, elementary school teachersAbstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pelatihan pembelajaran kreatif, yang memenuhi kriteria kebergunaan, kelayakan, dan ketepatan secara teoritis dan praktis.     PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF SILAT PEDANG UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN SENI TARI PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    Abstract: The study was intended to produce a Silat Pedang interactive multimedia to teach dancing course at elementary schools. The research model used was ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) for the elementary school level. The data was obtained from observation, interview, documentation study, and questionnaires which were given to the students and the teachers of the fourth grade at Tunas Unggul Olus National School. The results of the study suggested that Silat Pedang interactive multimedia could improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning outcome because it fulfilled the requirements of relevancy, convenience, attractiveness, and expediency.Keywords: interactive multimedia, ADDIE model, silat pedangAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif silat pedang untuk pembelajaran seni tari di SD.
