Aguarium. A Set of Art lessons for 1st Grade of Elementary School. (theoretical-project thesis)
The presented theoretical and project diploma thesis was aimed at developing an art project AQUARIUM, during the Art Education lessons in the first level of elementary school. It is structured in two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part defines the therms and processes available literature on the topic. The project part of the thesis consists of eleven proposed art lessons and also deals with the documentation, implementation and reflection of the proposed teaching units. The diploma thesis is followed with pictorial annexes related to the theoretical part, photo documentation of lessons and proposed structured preparation
Buildings facility management
This Master´s thesis is centered around facility management and the IT tools and supporting business activities it employs to create properly functioning company. The theoretical part describes key features of a building, its life cycle, necessary business costs involved, and the general description of activities and tools of facility management. The experimental part is based on questionnaire survey answered by respondents that actively implement facility management in their businesses. Crucial component of the experimental part is the evaluation of implementation of two CAFM systems in the Brno University of Technology and the mutual comparison of their properties
Suspension footbridge over the river Bečva
The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of a suspended footbridge for pedestrians over the Bečva River. Three variants of the crossing were created. The va-riant with a suspension structure was selected for detailed design. The chosen pede-strian footbridge is composed of two suspension cables supported by an inclined py-lon, anchored by a set of six anchoring cables. The design of the structure relied on finding the ideal geometry of the suspension cables. The computational model was created in the ANSYS Mechanical APDL 2023 R2 software. For the analysis of the deck in the transverse direction, model was created in the SCIA Engineer 21.1 software. The construction was assessed for ultimate limit state of serviceability and load-bearing capacity according to applicable standards, and a dynamic analysis was performed. The work includes clear and detailed drawings and visualizations
Analysis of membrane structures
This thesis focuses on a comprehensive analysis and design of membrane structures that are one of the most dynamically developing areas in structural engineering. These structures, that are characterised by their ability to cover large spans with a minimum number of supporting elements and provide high levels of natural light due to their translucency, are examined in this thesis from theoretical and practical perspectives. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the basic principles of their design and analysis are described, including detailed A detailed discussion of the materials and technologies used. Special attention is paid to mechanical properties of fabrics, which are crucial for the functionality and durability of these structures. The second chapter deals with the numerical analysis of membrane structures, with an emphasis on the non linear mechanics, the form-finding process for determining the optimal shape of the structure, and methods for calculation of cutting patterns. In the practical part, case studies are presented, including the analysis of prestressed membrane of the Anthropos dance pavilion and the ETFE cushion roof structure. These studies offer insights into the challenges and solutions associated with the design and analysis of membrane structures, including detailed descriptions of the structures, calculation models and load analyses. Specific emphasis is placed on Analysis of the 'ponding' effect, a common cause of failure in these structures
Falt House Hodonice
The diploma thesis was prepared for the new construction of an apartment building at the stage of project documentation for the execution of the construction. The building is part of a new residential zone built on the premises of the former JZD in the village of Hodonice near Znojmo. The project was developed in accordance with the spatial plan and respects the surrounding development. The goal was to design a building that would provide residents with new residential housing that meets today's standards. It is a partially basement building with one basement floor and three aboveground floors. In the basement of the building there are cellar cubicles assigned to individual apartments, technical rooms, a room for bikes and strollers and a drying room. On the upper floors there are a total of twelve apartments with layouts of 1+kk, 2+kk and 4+kk. The third floor of the apartment building is set back, which gave space for the creation of terraces that offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Photovoltaic panels and heat pumps are placed on the flat roof. The new construction of the apartment building meets the requirements for a building with almost zero energy consumption
Analysis of the effectiveness of the photocatalytic effect in surface treatments
The thesis deals with the possible use of the photocatalytic effect in construction practice. Surfaces with this type of treatment have the ability of a so-called self-cleaning effect. Based on the research, the basic principles of the evaluation of photocatalytic substances and its possible applications were written down. Furthermore, the issue of staining facade plasters was outlined. The goal was to analyze the effectiveness of the photocatalytic effect in surface treatments. A photocatalyst of two types (anatase and rutile) and two rounds (2% and 5%) was added to the plaster mix. Next, the samples were contaminated with dyes and dust particles, and then the samples were placed in the QUV tester or exposed to outdoor climatic conditions. The photoactivity of individual plaster mixtures was evaluated on the samples based on color changes during testing. Plaster with TiO2 in the form of anatas dosed in 5%, according to a modified evaluation based on UNI 11259 and JIS 1703-2:2007 standards, photocatalytic properties, and thus a self cleaning process occurred
Algoritmizace matematických úloh
This thesis deals with the search for useful inter-subject relationships between mathematics and informatics at the lower-secondary school. Special attention is paid to the thematic unit Algorithmization and programming, components of the area of Informatics according to the revised Framework Education Program of basic education from 2021 (RVP ZV). The goal of the thesis is to illustrate the possibilities of realizing these intersubject relationships and their contribution to educational goals. On the basis of the current knowledge of the branch didactics of mathematics, the author selects suitable tasks and problems from the mathematics of the lower-secondary school. Subsequently, author proposes procedures for their algorithmization and representation in a programming language so that these activities have a positive effect on the e ducation of pupils in both mathematics and computer science. The resulting tasks are integrated into the context of mathematics education at the lower-secondary school and will be implemented in some casestheir practical verification
The Dialogue of Catholic Theology with Marxism: J. L. Ruiz de la Peňa
The first part of the thesis traces the various forms of dialogue between Roman Catholic Christians and Marxism in the 19th and 20th centuries: the reactions of the magisterium, the practice of individual Christians, and theological reflection. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to description and evaluation of a specific attempt at dialogue with Marxism by a Spanish Roman Catholic theologian, Juan Luis Ruiz de la Pena Solar (1937-1996). Chapter 1 summarizes the main concepts and currents of Marxism and sets their emergence and development in a contemporary context. Special attention is paid to Marxist orthodoxy and humanist Marxism. Chapter 2 traces the multilayered process of Roman Catholicism's contact with Marxism in terms of the development of the attitudes of the magisterium, ecclesiastical practice, and theology. Chapter 3 describes the situation in Spain in the 20th century that formed the immediate context of Ruiz de la Pena's life, provides a basic biography, and describes his theological orientation and style, his importance for Spanish theology, and provides an overview of the critical responses to his work. Chapter 4 summarizes Ruiz de la Pena's writings on Marxism and provides a detailed analysis of the book "Death and Humanist Marxism: A Theological Perspective". The work is complemented by a more detailed excursus into the thought of the humanist Marxist Adam Schaff
