Menelisik Falsafah Nrimo Ing Pandum pada Manajemen Desa Wisata Ketingan, Sleman
The philosophy of nrimo ing pandum is a concept of accepting fate in Javanese culture which is often misinterpreted as a fatalistic and resigned attitude. This research aims to reveal misconceptions about cultural values, namely the nrimo ing pandum philosophy which has become a fatalistic culture in the community managing tourist villages in Sleman Regency, then linking this to the case of stagnation in Ketingan Tourism Village, Sleman Regency, DIY in tourism destination management. Qualitative descriptive methods were used with data collection carried out through non-participatory observation and interviews with research subjects, namely the local community of Ketingan Tourism Village. The data obtained was then analyzed using categorization according to themes arranged based on the initial hypothesis. The results show that people's misconceptions about the true meaning of the nrimo ing pandum philosophy play a role in the stagnation of tourism village development. The fatalistic mindset that accompanies it makes it difficult for them to innovate and rise from stagnation even though they have entered a phase of decline. Poor destination management also plays a role in causing stagnation in this tourist village. So, it is necessary to transform the community's mindset regarding the true meaning of philosophy as well as increasing the capacity of tourism village managers through various training. Apart from that, policies and programs from the regional government are really needed so that the Ketingan Tourism Village can recover from tourism stagnation and develop again
Evaluasi Penerapan Eco-Label dalam Pengembangan Ekowisata di Desa Wisata Nglanggeran, Yogyakarta
This research was conducted to analyze the application of eco-labels in the development of ecotourism in the Nglanggeran Tourism Village, due to urgency of eco-labels as an official identity that shows the commitment of an ecotourism destination to certain standards related to aspects of nature conservation, local economic empowerment and cultural preservation local to maximize the quality of sustainable ecotourism management. This research uses a qualitative method based on an in-depth literature review to analyze the implementation of eco-labels in the Nglanggeran Tourism Village. The research results show that ecotourism management in the Nglanggeran Tourism Village has fulfilled most of the ideal criteria for an ecotourism destination, even though it has not received eco-label legitimacy from the relevant official institutions. Therefore, it is necessary to have an official eco-label institution to provide an official label as an ecotourism destination in the Nglanggeran Tourism Village so that it can maximize its management, especially in minimizing negative impacts on the environment
Upaya Dinas Pariwisata dalam Meningkatkan Resiliensi Pengrajin Reyog di Kabupaten Ponorogo
The aim of this research is to determine the Tourism Department's efforts to increase the resilience of reog craftsmen in Ponorogo Regency. This research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques in research are observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research first show that the efforts made by the government of the Ponorogo Tourism Office to help craftsmen are by promoting their products both locally and internationally. Second, the government helps craftsmen to obtain business permits and collaborates with PKK members to support each other's businesses. Third, promote through social media to increase the economic income of craftsmen. Fourth, to strengthen increased resilience, the Ponorogo Regency Tourism Office carries out networking activities (collaborating with other people), namely establishing collaboration with other regions through participation in arts and crafts exhibitions and involving the younger generation. Researchers put forward several recommendations which can later be used as a reference, including holding exhibitions of works involving the younger generation. This is one of the efforts to make Reyog Ponorogo art more sustainable
Analisis Potensi Pengembangan Wisata Berkelanjutan: Studi pada Destinasi Wisata Ranca Upas, Ciwidey
Ranca Upas, known for its natural beauty and rich culture, offers significant opportunities for sustainable tourism development. This study involves collecting data through literature studies which include books, journals and articles related to Ranca Upas tourism in Ciwidey. The results of the analysis show that Ranca Upas has significant potential as a tourist destination with unique natural and interesting culture. Apart from that, this analysis also highlights the challenges faced by this tourist destination such as inadequate infrastructure and limited access. This article aims to provide in-depth insight into the potential of the Ranca Upas tourist destination and provide recommendations for sustainable tourism development that has a positive impact on the local community
Pengembangan DSP Labuan Bajo: Sebuah Quantum Leap
The acceleration in the development of DSP (Super Priority Destinations) in Labuan Bajo has apparently meant that many tourism actors need to push the limits of their potential to keep up with the acceleration that is already underway. The process of learning about the world of tourism takes a long time, but development continues to be massive even though the tourism foundation there is not yet very strong, that was a problem. To explore this, this research has two main questions: a) how is Labuan Bajo tourism accelerated?; and b) how do tourism actors react to the acceleration of Labuan Bajo tourism? Data was searched using literature study methods, participant observation and in-depth interviews. As a result, Labuan Bajo's tourism quantum leap is not based on internal population growth, but instead exists to stimulate population growth, in this case tourists
Pengembangan Paket Wisata Berdasarkan Segmentasi Psikografis Wisatawan Pendaki Gunung Indonesia di Kawasan Konservasi Annapurna, Nepal
Annapurna Conservation Area is a destination for Indonesian outbound tourist, specifically in pendakian gunung as special interest tourism segments. This paperβs identified Indonesian Trekkers psychographic segmentation through their travel career pattern and develop a pendakian gunung package for Indonesian tourists based on their travel career pattern in Annapurna Conservation Area. Psychographic segmentation based on Indonesian tourist travel motives, level of travel experiences, level of pendakian gunung experiences, level of preparation and participation, and life stage level. Thus, Indonesia trekkers in Annapurna categorized as younger and experienced, mid-life and moderately experienced, mid-life and experience, and high travel career refers to their travel career pattern. Pendakian gunung packages are developed based on travel career pattern with strategies to introduces a contrast of landscape, advance pendakian gunung activities, self-actualized and wellness endurance, and as technical and management advance for Indonesia trekkers in Annapurna Conservation Area
Dampak Pengembangan Kebiajakan Anugerah Desa Wisata Indonesia (ADWI) terhadap Pertumbuhan Industri Pariwisata dan Perekonomian Masyarakat Lokal
Tourism is an important sector for the Indonesian economy, and the country is well-equipped to make tourism a leading industry that can compete on the global stage. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism industry in Indonesia. To revive the industry and attract more tourists, the Ministry of Tourism created Anugrah Desa Wisata Indonesia (ADWI), an award given to outstanding tourist villages that meet certain assessment criteria. This initiative is expected to boost tourism and promote economic growth in local communities.This research aims to examine the impact of the ADWI policy on the development of the tourism industry and the local economy. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected from interviews, observations, and other supporting documents. The results indicate that the ADWI policy has had a significant impact on the tourism industry, as evidenced by the development of supporting infrastructure, an increase in the number of visitors, and income generated from tourist attractions. However, while there have been more business and job opportunities, the impact on the local economy has not been significant
Social Impacts of Ecotourism Development in Kalibiru
Kulon Progo possesses the potential of natural beauty in the form of forests and hills. With the emergence of awareness about ecotourism potential, significant social transformations have occurred, particularly for the community in Kalibiru over the past decade. The initiation of ecotourism in Kalibiru has led to a surge in socio-economic changes among the local population. This paper aims to present the social transformation that has taken place in Kalibiru in relation to changes in forest status and the operation of ecotourism. The research is qualitative and employs participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentary studies in data collection. The obtained data will be analyzed from the perspective of social change based on conflicts. From this research, it can be concluded that tourism grows due to conflicts arising from detrimental changes in forest status policies affecting the local community. The existence of Kalibiru ecotourism has transformed an agrarian-based community into tourism participants. When the ecotourism sector experiences a downturn, it creates socio-economic changes in the community, requiring them to return to agrarian activities or seek alternative livelihoods
Experiencing Museum: Eksplorasi Digital Free Tourism di Museum Ullen Sentalu, Yogyakarta
This research explores the concept of Digital Free Tourism (DFT) in the context of 'experiencing museum' in Ullen Sentalu. This study aims to analyze the application of the DFT concept in Ullen Sentalu Museum, Yogyakarta, as well as its implications for the museum's tourism experience. This research uses qualitative methods with an exploratory study approach conducted with data collection methods, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies collected from journals, books, articles, and also the Ullen Sentalu museum page. The results of this study found that the Ullen Sentalu Museum successfully applied the DFT concept by controlling the use of on-site technology during museum tours to maintain the safety of the collection and create a more immersive 'museum experience' and increase visitor curiosity and wellbeing. Ullen Sentalu also does not reject digital utilization but continues to innovate by optimizing digital content during pre-site and post-site to reflect his commitment to be relevant in the digital era while maintaining traditional values in DFT
Evaluasi Kerangka Konseptual Daya Dukung Ekowisata (Studi Kasus: Taman Nasional Karkheh dengan Taman Nasional Indonesia)
Carrying capacity measurement in an ecotourism concept is very important to measure the capacity of space to receive the number of tourists and their activities in the area. The calculating methods of the carrying capacity concept have been implemented in several ecotourism areas based on several categories, such as; physical, real, effective, ecological and socio-cultural carrying capacity. In this case, research was carried out with the aim of studying the concept of carrying capacity applied in Karkheh National Park and National Parks in Indonesia. This can be studied to find a new concept that can be useful for carrying capacity calculations in Indonesia which are more complex and on target. Literature study is the method used in this research to examine information related to each National Park area. Thus, the results of the elaboration of the concept of carrying capacity between Karkheh National Park and National Parks in Indonesia show that socio-cultural carrying capacity needs to be applied to National Parks in Indonesia because of the same high density context
