    Pengaruh Terapi Murotal Al-Qur'an Terhadap Kecemasan Pasien Dengan Prosedur Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

    Kecemasan merupakan gejala yang sering muncul pada pasien Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) yang akan menjalani Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). Kecemasan yang tidak tertangani dengan baik dapat menimbulkan perburukan kondisi dan penundaan prosedur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan evidenced based practice berupa pemberian terapi murotal Al-qur'an terhadap kecemasan pasien yang akan menjalani PCI. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi melalui pendekatan pre eksperimental dengan penerapan evidence-based practice tentang penerapan terapi murotal Al-qur'an. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 responden, yaitu pasien ACS yang akan mendapatkan terapi PCI. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Kecemasan diukur menggunakan Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) dengan rentang 1-10. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil didapatkan terdapat pengaruh pemberian terapi murotal Al-quran terhadap kecemasan (p0.05). Adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor kecemasan sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi. Kesimpulan, terapi murotal merupakan terapi yang mudah dilaksanakan serta secara signifikan dapat menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada pasien yang akan menjalani PCI

    COVID-19 has become a world health issue due to the speed of its spread which is challenging to control. In addition, COVID-19 does not only cause problems in the physical health aspect and has an impact on the patient's psychological health. This situation causes a person who is confirmed to have COVID-19 to experience many psychological disorders such as anxiety; this will affect the immune system and the length of the healing process in patients. The purpose of this article is to determine the effectiveness of lemon balm aromatherapy (Melissa Officinalis) and music therapy in overcoming anxiety in COVID-19 patients in a literature review. The method in writing this article uses a literature review. Articles obtained through search sites: Google Scholar, Science Direct, Scopus, NCBI, and ProQuest. The criteria used in the search are Indonesian and English with a range of publication years 2015-2020. Eight leading journals were used as references in this study; from those journals, it was concluded that lemon balm contains anxiolytic which can improve the state of sleep disorders (insomnia) in clients with anxiety because of COPD, and it was found that music therapy can reduce anxiety in patients who on ventilators. Aromatherapy interventions made from lemon balm and the provision of music therapy are practical efforts to overcome anxiety in COVID-19 patient

    The Effects of Online Health Promotion to New Habit Adaptation

    Health workers have a high risk of being exposed to COVID-19. The lack of knowledge of health workers, especially nurses, can lead to increased stress during the pandemic. Therefore, there is a need for preventive and promotive efforts in the form of new habit adaptation. Online health promotion can be used to improve public health optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health promotion on new health adaptation which was conducted online. The research design used pre-experimental with one group pre-post test design. Nurses at the Bali Provincial Mental Hospital who have attended the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (DKJPS) training on adapting new habits online for 3 days were given a pretest on the first day of implementation of new habit adaptation and a post test on the 56th day. The samples used were 82 nurses and 146 nuclear family nurses who were selected using purposive sampling that met the inclusion criteria, that is nurses from the Bali Province Mental Hospital and their nuclear families aged 15 years. Data collection was carried out from August 25, 2021 to October 26, 2021 using the New Habit Adaptation questionnaire in reference to the DKJPS manual book. The analysis used the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results of the analysis showed that the p value value 0.05 showed that there was an effect of online health promotion on the new habit adaptation. The results of this study prove that online health promotion affects the implementation of new habit adaptation in an effort to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

    Nurses' roles and challenges to providing care for tropical diseases: A scoping review

    Tropical diseases are associated with tropical regions, but global access travel, climate change, and environmental factors affecting disease vectors may spread to non-endemic countries. This review reinforces the view of nurses' roles and challenges to providing care for tropical diseases. This scoping review search included: SCOPUS, PubMed, EBSCO Medline, Science Direct, and citation search: Google Scholar. Studies included if the population was nurses or part of a multidisciplinary or provider intervention on tropical diseases and original English articles between 2011 and 2021 with various methods. From 773 studies identified, 23 met the inclusion criteria. Three themes emerged: 1) nurses role as health providers, educators, motivators, leaders, collaboration, and coordination; 2) providing safe working and job satisfaction; and 3) The role of organizations, health systems, and policymakers. There were also three challenges: 1) lack of skills, knowledge, and training for nurses, 2) the stigma of tropical diseases, 3) sociocultural approach. The role and practice of nursing in tropical diseases vary across healthcare settings, influenced by nurses' stigma, knowledge, training, job safety, and satisfaction.     Pengalaman Perawat Dalam Melakukan Perawatan Luka Diabetik Selama Pademi COVID-19

     Pandemi COVID-19 menghambat praktik perawatan luka kaki diabetik sehingga dibutuhkan strategi baru yang aman untuk kelanjutan praktik klinis perawatan luka kaki diabetik selama pandemi COVID-19 agar perawatan luka tetap berlanjut. Pemberian perawatan dimodifikasi untuk untuk mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 dan mencegah resiko ulserasi kaki yang mengakibatkan infeksi lebih berat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman perawatan luka sebelum dan selama pandemi COVID-19 di Kota Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu 10 perawat luka. Adapun kriteria inklusi dalam penelitian meliputi perawat luka tersertifikasi CWCCA, Perawat dengan lulusan Ners, berpengalaman minimal 1 tahun dan bekerja di klinik perawatan luka selama pandemi COVID-19.  Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu klinik perawatan luka di kota Medan. Hasil wawancara direkam terlebih dahulu, selanjutnya ditranskrip. Penelitian dianalisis dengan metode analisis Colaizzi. Hasil dari proses analisis tematik dalam penelitian ini didapatkan 6 tema, yaitu:  kecemasan menghadapi pandemi COVID-19, dampak pandemi COVID-19 terhadap perawatan luka, hambatan perawatan luka di masa pandemi, strategi perawatan luka di masa pandemi, mekanisme koping perawat menghadapi pandemi, dan 6) dukungan sosial yang diperoleh perawat selama pandemi. Adapun kesimpulannya yaitu terjadi penundaan perawatan luka kaki diabetik akibat adanya pandemi COVID-19 sehingga menyebabkan jumlah kunjungan pasien luka kaki diabetik menurun dan mempengaruhi jumlah pendapatan perawat yang berkurang di masa pandemi COVID-19

    Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new variant of disease which has never been identified in human beings and is a communicable respiratory tract disease, it is very harmful to people, especially to nurses since not all healthcare workers in a hospital are equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) due to its limited availability in Indonesia. The objective of the research is to explore the experience of nurses who do not take care of patients COVID-19 patients in a hospital during COVID-19 pandemic. The research employs qualitative method with descriptive phenomenological approach. The participants are 10 nurses who do not take care of COVID-19 patients at USU hospital, selected by nursing purposive sampling technique. The data are collected through in-depth interviews. All interviews are firstly recorded and then transcribed. They are analyzed by using Colaizzi test approach. The result of the thematic analysis finals six themes: that the nurses have psychological impact, have COVID-19 pandemic impact, encounter obstacles during the pandemic, carry out coping mechanism, develop strategies in handling COVID-19, and receive social support. It is concluded that nurses experience psychological impact in the beginning of the pandemic such as excessive anxiety and stress so that they need social support from families, colleagues, or neighbors. The nurses knowledge of COVID-19 is still poor, so that it is necessary to provide more profound seminars and training

    Nurse’s Perception of Papua Province’s Ability to Run Master Program of Occupational Health Nursing

    Industrial development in Papua Province has not been accompanied by an increase in the specialization of Occupational Health Nursing (OHN) education, despite the demands for quality health care services. The objective is to explore the nurses’ perception on managing a master's program in Occupational Health Nursing (OHN). The study methods using descriptive cross sectional design. The variables were master program of OHN as the dependent variable and nurse perception as the independent variable. The population were nurses in Papua and the sampling technique was simple random sampling. Total sample are 184 nurses as sampling with confidence level of 95% and confidence interval of 5% from 350 total population. The study used univariate data analysis which includes demographic data and respondents' perceptions of the ability of the Papuan people in implementing the program. The data collection tool was a mixed questionnaire of Likert scale processed by the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) 25 version application and R program for sampling processing. The results show majority respondents (76.1%) were interested in continuing the OHN Master's program, and most of them (73.3%) had the perception that the province of Papua was able to run it. The research projected an initial signal that specialist education in OHN was for the benefits of workers, industries, the public, and the nursing profession

    COVID-19 adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh tipe baru coronavirus. COVID-19 dapat menginfeksi siapa saja, tidak terkecuali orang dengan gangguan jiwa (ODGJ). Paisen ini mempunyai resiko yang lebih tinggi untuk tertular dan menularkan. Hal ini tentunya menjadi tantangan bagi perawat yang memberikan pelayanan kesehatan. Respon psikologis yang dialami oleh perawat semakin meningkat karena perasaan cemas. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan kecemasan adalah menggunakan teknik distraksi terapi musik klasik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi musik klasik Mozart terhadap tingkat kecemasan perawat Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre ekperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pre-post test design. Lokasi yang digunakan adalah Ruang IGD Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bali dalam periode waktu 6-19 Desember 2021. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu 15 orang perawat dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling mencakup kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner kecemasan Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS). Kegiatan pemberian terapi musik klasik Mozart ke perawat jaga diberikan 2 x sehari pada saat awal dan akhir shift selama 6 hari pemberian, setiap pemberian diberikan ±30 menit. Analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001. Nilai tersebut lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan nilai α (0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terapi music klasik Mozart berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kecemasan perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Bal

    The Meaning of Support: A Husband Perspective of Women Cancer Survivor

    Women's long journey as cancer survivors makes them need husband's support. However, it was found that the wife felt the support received was less effective and the husband did not fulfill his wishes, even though the husband considered the support provided to be adapted to his wife's needs. So there is a difference in understanding related to the support given by the husband with the support received by the wife. This study aims to determine the definition of husband's support for his wife as a cancer survivor from the husband's perspective. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The samples obtained were 7 people. Data collection techniques using interviews and field notes. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study found 3 themes, namely the definition of husband's support, the reason for the husband to provide support and the form of support. 6 participants know the definition of husband's support and the rest do not know. There is one reason the husband provides support. The form of support provided by the husband is instrumental, informative, emotional, appreciation, monitoring, prioritizing and trusting the wife. Each husband has a different perspective both in defining support, reasons for giving support and efforts to support his wife. Nurses and wives are expected to understand each other's perspectives because the differences that occur cannot be generalized

    Nurses' Ethical Challenges During Caring for COVID-19 Patients: Literature Study

    The COVID-19 pandemic has had many impacts on health services. As the most health workers who stand on the front lines, nurses have faced many ethical challenges when treating patients with COVID-19. The ethical challenge of nurses is basically due to the gap between nursing practice and nursing goals. This study aims to identify empirical evidence related to nurses' ethical challenges when caring for COVID-19 patients. This research method uses a literature study analyzing articles from four reputable databases such as Pubmed, Proquest, CINAHL, Science Direct, and one search engine Google Scholar with publication years between 2020 - 2021. The keywords used are 'COVID-19', 'critical care nursing', 'caring', 'ethical challenges', 'ethical issues', and 'ethical dilemmas' with the help of boolean operators 'OR' and 'AND', articles were selected in stages using PRISMA. From the results of 854 articles, only 7 articles were identified that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Article review result found three themes related to the ethical challenges that occurred, namely the ethical challenges in the nursing care process, ethical challenges in nursing professionals, and ethical challenges in health interprofessional relationships. Ethical challenges cause nurses' discomfort at work, and can even cause job stress. Regarding these results, nurses need to get support to overcome ethical dilemmas that occur through the provision of resources according to needs, preparation of SOPs regarding the roles and duties of nurses, as well as increasing knowledge related to the care of COVID-19 patients
