Sfide generazionali nel mercato del lavoro italiano: accesso, inclusione e dinamiche sociali nei contesti lavorativi/Generational challenges in the Italian labor market: access, inclusion, and workplace dynamics
Against the backdrop of a steadily ageing population, this study examines structural imbalances in the Italian labour market by analysing long-term trends in employment, unemployment, and inactivity rates among younger and senior workers. Drawing on statistical data disaggregated by region and macro-area and complemented by a critical review of sociological research on labour, the study reconstructs the processes that have shaped labour market dynamics in Italy over the past two decades. The research aims to provide an up-to-date account of intergenerational dynamics in the labour market and, consequently, within the workplace, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities they entail. Ultimately, it seeks to offer actionable insights for businesses and organisations to promote effective intergenerational cooperation and foster the inclusion of different age groups within the workplace. Lavoro educativo e approcci sistemici. Alcuni snodi teorico-pratici
Among the needs of educational work, the necessity of delineating competencies and methodologies informed by coherent theoretical-practical perspectives is constantly emphasized. This contribution aims at focusing some critical issues within formal educational contexts following the perspective offered by systemic approaches. The exploration will unfold on multiple levels and along a plurality of directions, highlighting issues that certainly emerge from well-known educational themes but, at the same time, configure peculiar features. These dimensions involve a plurality of activities such as navigating among the multiple paradoxical forms that human systems generate, addressing the gap between intention and effect and mastering the potential of abductive logic that is inextricably intertwined with the fictional dimension of the educational scene. The article will highlight their potential to represent useful elements for educational reflection and for designing training modules addressed to first and second-level educational professionals.
Pandemic and Russia’s War of Aggression against Ukraine. Two Unprecedented Challenges for the European Education Area
The year 2025 will be an important year for the process of realising the European Education Area. Next year, in fact, the European Commission will have the opportunity to prepare a comprehensive report on the progress made during the first cycle (2021-2025) of this “ambitious” project. This report will enable the Council to review the strategic framework for European cooperation in the field of education and training, including the targets, the governance structure and the working methods previously set, thus making any necessary adjustments for the second cycle (2026-2030). This essay intends to offer a contribution to the evaluation process of the first cycle

Vulnerabilità e resoconti del caregiving: posizionalità e micro-pratiche della cura nel lavoro sul campo/Vulnerability and the accounts of caregiving: positionality and micro-practices on care in the fieldwork
Drawing on an exercise of ethnographic reflexivity, this article explores the researcher's experience of being vulnerable to the absence of care in social research aimed at highlighting families’ perceptions of the cost of home-based elder care in Italy. The article demonstrates how this experience influenced researchers' positionality within trade union and volunteer organizations, leading to “micro-practices of care” enacted by both researchers and research participants, which impacted the co-construction of caregiving representations. Thanks to this reflexive account, I aim to highlight how researchers’ vulnerability can illuminate contingent and partial knowledge of what constitutes care in contexts marked by the absence of state-provided care. Keywords: Ethnography; Positionality; Politics of Representations; Volunteering; Family Caregiver
