Simulation of Cardiotocographic Scenarios

Cílem předložené bakalářské práce je připravit scénáře průběhů kardiotokografických záznamů jak pro testování reakční doby kardiotokografů, tak i zvolit vhodné reprezentativní průběhy pro simulaci přirozeného i komplikovaného porodu. Teoretická část je zaměřena na princip kardiotokografie, dosavadní techniku kardiotokografů a na studium FIGO klasifikace, která tvoří základní východisko pro interpretaci kardiotokografických záznamů. Praktická část se zabývá stanovením parametrů kritických scénářů pro následné měření reakční doby kardiotokografů. Dále je na základě FIGO klasifikace definováno pět kardiotokografických scénářů, od fyziologického až po patologické. Bylo zvoleno pět scénářů simulujících přirozený a komplikovaný porod, které mohou najít své využití v simulačních centrech. Praktická část je zakončena statistickým vyhodnocením naměřených dat reakční doby kardiotokografů. Statistická analýza se zabývá stanovením hypotéz na základě grafických výstupů a vyhodnocení základních parametrů. Stanovené hypotézy jsou následně vyhodnoceny statistickými testy, které slouží k poukázaní na problematiku kardiotokografů.The aim of the presented bachelor thesis is to prepare scenarios of cardiotocographic waveforms both for testing the reaction time of cardiotocographs and to select suitable representative waveforms for simulation of natural and complicated birth. The theoretical part focuses on the principle of cardiotocography, the existing technique of cardiotocographs and the study of the FIGO classification, which forms the basic basis for the interpretation of cardiotocographic recordings. The practical part deals with the determination of parameters of critical scenarios for subsequent measurement of the reaction time of cardiotocographs. Furthermore, five cardiotocographic scenarios are defined based on the FIGO classification, ranging from physiological to pathological. Five scenarios simulating natural and complicated childbirth have been selected and may find their use in simulation centers. The practical part is concluded with a statistical evaluation of measured cardiotocograph reaction time data. The statistical analysis deals with the determination of hypotheses based on graphical outputs and the evaluation of basic parameters. Fourier and Chebyshev Approximation

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá numerickou aproximací funkcí pomocí polynomiální interpolace, aproximací užitím Čebyševových polynomů, metodou nejmenších čtverců a Fourierovou aproximací. Práce představuje teoretické základy jednotlivých metod, analyzuje jejich vlastnosti a poukazuje na jejich vzájemné souvislosti. Dále jsou odvozeny efektivní algoritmy pro výpočet aproximací pomocí Čebyševových polynomů a Fourierovy řady s časovou složitostí O(n log n).This bachelor's thesis deals with numerical approximation of functions by polynomial interpolation, approximation by Chebyshev polynomials, least squares method and Fourier approximation. The work presents theoretical foundations of each method, analyses their properties and points out their interrelations. Analysis of Evacuation Pocesses in the Cinema Centre during an Emergency Event

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na evakuaci osob z veřejné budovy, analýze chování při evakuaci a srovnání těchto metod s počítačovým modelem. V první části je práce zaměřena na teorii v oblasti evakuace kin, psychologických a sociologických faktorů ovlivňující chování davu. V druhé části bude popsána již konkrétní budova, ve které samotná evakuace proběhla. Navazovat bude výpočet evakuace podle Českých technických norem a počítačová simulace. Na závěr bude provedeno shrnutí a vyhodnocení evakuace a následně budou doporučeny změny v objektu.The diploma thesis is focused on the evacuation of people from a public building, the analysis of evacuation behavior and the comparison of these methods with a computer model. Environmental Policies and their Impact on International Trade

Diplomová práce se zabývá vzájemným vztahem mezi mezinárodním obchodem a environmentální politikou a zkoumá to, jak současné environmentální iniciativy ovlivňují obchodní vztahy, exportní výkonnost, konkurenceschopnost nebo vztah mezi hospodářským růstem a udržitelností. Teoretická část představuje klíčové pojmy environmentální politiky, nástroje a mechanismy udržitelného rozvoje mezinárodního obchodu a jejich rozvoj. Práce se zabývá vlivem Pařížské dohody, Evropské zelené dohody a certifikačních režimů Fair Trade na životní prostředí obchodu. Praktická část představuje reálné dopady politik na vybraná průmyslová odvětví v Evropské unii, detailněji pak ocelářský průmysl, automobilový průmysl a elektroenergetický průmysl, a zohledňuje dopad environmentální certifikace na zemědělský export rozvojových zemí. Výsledky ukazují, že environmentální legislativa je silným nástrojem pro usnadnění udržitelného rozvoje, ale za určitých okolností může také vést ke vzniku nových obchodních bariér a k prohloubení rozdílů mezi zeměmi. The theoretical section introduces key concepts of environmental policy, tools, and mechanisms of sustainable development in international trade and their evolution. Particular attention is paid to the impact of the Paris Agreement, the European Green Deal, and Fair Trade certification schemes on the environmental dimension of trade. The practical part focuses on the real-world impacts of these policies on selected industrial sectors within the European Union, specifically the steel industry, automotive industry, and electricity generation sector. It also considers the impact of environmental certification on agricultural exports from developing countries. The findings show that environmental legislation is a powerful instrument for promoting sustainable development. Still, under certain circumstances, it can also lead to new trade barriers and deepen disparities between countries. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na komparaci marketingové komunikace vybraných franchisových sítí v oblasti gastronomie. Hlavním cílem práce je porovnat efektivitu marketingové komunikace McDonald's, KFC, Starbucks, Vosíme a UGO z pohledu spotřebitelů. Teoretická část se věnuje základům franchisingu a principům marketingové komunikace. Praktická část vychází z kvantitativního výzkumu realizovaného formou online dotazníku. Výsledky ukazují, že zákazníci považují marketingovou komunikaci McDonald's a KFC za nejefektivnější. Závěr práce obsahuje doporučení pro zlepšení komunikace, s důrazem na lepší přizpůsobení zákaznickým preferencím.This bachelor’s thesis focuses on a comparison of marketing communication of selected franchise networks in the field of gastronomy. The main goal is to compare the effectiveness of marketing communication of McDonald’s, KFC, Starbucks, Vosíme, and UGO from the consumer’s perspective. The Use of Nudging in the Marketing of Healthy Lifestyle and Fitness

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím nudgingu, tedy jemného postrčení, v marketingu zdravého životního stylu a fitness. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda a jak různé typy nudgingových intervencí ovlivňují cvičební návyky a preference spotřebitelů při výběru fitness produktů, a zda se účinnost těchto postrčení mění v závislosti na informovanosti o principu nudgingu. Výzkum byl proveden formou kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření, které porovnávalo odpovědi informované a neinformované skupiny respondentů. Z výsledků vyplývá, že většina nudgingových technik podporuje žádoucí chování, avšak informovanost o snaze o ovlivnění mohla u některých respondentů vyvolat efekt obranné reakce a snížit účinnost intervence. Práce přináší konkrétní návrhy, jak využít nudging v marketingu tak, aby respektoval etické principy a byl efektivní u různých cílových skupin.This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of nudging, that is, subtle prompting, in the marketing of healthy lifestyle and fitness. The aim of the thesis was to determine whether and how different types of nudging interventions influence exercise habits and consumer preferences when choosing fitness products, and whether the effectiveness of these nudges varies depending on awareness of the nudging principle. The research was conducted in the form of a quantitative questionnaire survey comparing responses from informed and uninformed groups of respondents. The results indicate that most nudging techniques support desirable behavior; however, awareness of the influencing attempt may have triggered a defensive reaction in some respondents and reduced the effectiveness of the intervention. Determinants of Long Term Unemployment in Frydek-Mistek District

Bakalářská práce „Determinanty dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti v okrese Frýdek-Místek“ se zaměřuje na analýzu struktury dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných, kteří jsou vedeni na ÚP v okrese Frýdek-Místek. Teoretická část práce popisuje souvislosti dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti, faktory jejího vzniku a její možné dopady. V rámci výzkumné části práce byly zkoumány ukazatele, na základě kterých došlo k analýze struktury dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných osob. Mezi tyto ukazatele byl zahrnut, věk, délka nezaměstnanosti, vzdělání, zdravotní stav a uvedená klasifikace CZ-ISCO, a to jak u posledního zaměstnání, tak u požadovaného zaměstnání. Následující část výzkumu byla věnována kumulativním problémům, které mohou komplikovat opětovný návrat na trh práce. Mezi tyto problémy můžeme zařadit věk nad 50 let, jakýkoliv zdravotní problém a nízké vzdělání. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že více než polovina evidovaných je na ÚP v okrese Frýdek-Místek evidována déle než 24 měsíců a jako nejčastější kumulativní problém se v této skupině objevil věk nad 50 let a špatný zdravotní stav. V této části byly také pozorovány změny jedinců v případě jejich posledního zaměstnání a následně požadovaného zaměstnání dle klasifikace CZ-ISCO. Největší sestup byl zaznamenán u žen, které jsou zasaženy problémy jako jsou věk nad 50 let a jakýkoliv zdravotní problém, a to v průměru o necelé tři kategorie. V závěru práce byla prezentována doporučení, která spadají pod aktivní politiku zaměstnanosti a mohla by přispět ke zlepšení aktuální situace dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných osob v okrese Frýdek-Místek.The bachelor's thesis “Determinants of Long-term Unemployment in the Frýdek-Místek District” focuses on analyzing the structure of long-term unemployed individuals registered at the Labor Office in the Frýdek-Místek district. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the context of long-term unemployment, the factors contributing to its emergence, and its potential impacts. In the research section of the thesis, indicators were examined that formed the basis for analyzing the structure of long-term unemployed individuals. These indicators included age, duration of unemployment, education, health status, and the CZ-ISCO classification — both in terms of the last job held and the desired occupation. The following part of the research focused on cumulative problems that may hinder individuals from reentering the labor market. These issues include being over the age of 50, having any health problem, and having a low level of education. The research findings show that more than half of those registered at the Labor Office in the Frýdek-Místek district have been registered for over 24 months. Among this group, the most common cumulative problems are being over 50 years of age and having poor health. This section also observed changes in individuals’ employment classification according to CZ-ISCO, comparing their last employment with their desired occupation. The greatest downward shift was recorded among women affected by issues such as being over 50 years old and having health problems, with an average decline of nearly three categories. In the conclusion of the thesis, recommendations are presented that fall under active labor market policies and could contribute to improving the current situation of long-term unemployed individuals in the Frýdek-Místek district.114 - Katedra ekonomievelmi dobř
