Translate Self-Review (TSR) method based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) for Arabic writing learning in Higher Education

Arabic writing skills at the higher education level were still experiencing stagnation, which required efforts to improve learning. This research was presented as an exploration of overcoming this problem. This research aimed to describe the application of the Translate Self-Review (TSR) method based on the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in arabic writing learning in higher education along with students' perceptions of this learning. This research used qualitative-descriptive method, and data was collected through questionnaire, observations, and documentation, then it was analyzed using Miles and Huberman analysis techniques. This research results highlighted that although there was a positive response from students towards the use of this method in creating an enjoyable learning experience and facilitating cross-cultural relationships, there was still a gap between theory and practice, indicating obstacles in improving Arabic writing skills in elementary-level inclusive classes. This research underlined the importance of adapting learning methods that were more appropriate to students' level of understanding and extending them to higher levels of education to obtain a more holistic picture. The TSR method based CRT approach offered potential in creating an inclusive learning environment, but needed modification to effectively meet the needs of diverse learners and improve Arabic writing skills at the higher education level

Uji Kompetensi Mahasiswa Program Profesi Apoteker Indonesia (UKMPPAI) merupakan penerapan sistem uji kompetensi secara nasional pada tahap akhir pendidikan apoteker untuk mengukur pencapaian kompetensi calon lulusan dalam ranah pengetahuan (kognitif), ketrampilan (psikomotor), serta sikap dan perilaku (afektif). Tujuan penyelenggaraan UKMPPAI adalah untuk meminimalkan variasi pencapaian mutu kompetensi lulusan agar memenuhi standar kompetensi kerja dan untuk memperoleh sertifikat kompetensi apoteker Indonesia sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan. Metode uji yang dikembangkan meliputi metode MCQ’s (Cognitive Based-Test) yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk Computer Based-Test (CBT) dan metode Objective Structure Clinical Examination (OSCE). Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) adalah metode penilaian yang digunakan untuk menguji kompetensi klinis mahasiswa Profesi Apoteker. OSCE merupakan bagian penting dalam evaluasi kemampuan praktis mahasiswa, namun sering kali proses pelaksanaannya masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini bisa menyebabkan inefisiensi waktu dan potensi kesalahan dalam penilaian. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi penilaian, serta mendukung program paperless FKIK Green Campus, pengembangan aplikasi OSCE dirasa perlu. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memfasilitasi proses penilaian secara digital sehingga meminimalkan penggunaan kertas dan mempercepat proses administratif yang terkait

Profitabilitas: Struktur modal, kebijakan dividen, nilai bank dan ukuran bank perbankan syariah di dunia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh struktur modal, kebijakan dividen, nilai bank, dan ukuran bank terhadap profitabilitas perbankan syariah secara global. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian explanatory, data dikumpulkan dari 20 bank syariah di 11 negara yang tergabung dalam Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB). Analisis menggunakan regresi data panel dengan model fixed effect (FEM) berdasarkan hasil uji Chow dan Hausman. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal, nilai bank, dan ukuran bank berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, sedangkan kebijakan dividen memiliki pengaruh yang tidak signifikan. Secara spesifik, struktur modal yang optimal dan ukuran bank yang lebih besar berkontribusi positif terhadap profitabilitas, sementara nilai bank yang tinggi berdampak negatif pada profitabilitas. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan modal yang bijak, strategi pertumbuhan, dan pengelolaan ekspektasi pasar bagi bank syariah untuk meningkatkan kinerja keuangan dan daya saing mereka di industri perbankan global dengan tetap mematuhi prinsip-prinsip syariah

DAMPAK PENGUMUMAN PENERBITAN SUKUK, OBLIGASI KONVENSIONAL TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM PERUSAHAAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerbitan obligasi dan sukuk terhadap return saham yang diwakili oleh variabel ukuran perusahaan, leverage, ukuran obligasi atau sukuk dan perubahan laverage. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan event study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 117 perusahaan dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 21 perusahaan. Data diperoleh dari laporan keuangan yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode analisis data menggunakan model regresi linear berganda. The meaning of tsyabbuh in hadith and its relevance towards new year celebration culture: A semantic study

This study analyzes the meaning of Tasyabbuh in hadith and its relevance to the New Year celebration culture through the semantic hadith approach. Tasyabbuh, resembling or imitating, was frequently mentioned in the Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The semantic hadith studies were used to comprehend the meaning and context in which the term is used. This study also explored the relationship between the concept of tasyabbuh in the hadith and the New Year celebration tradition in the community culture. Hopefully, the findings will provide in-depth insights into the significance of the meaning of tasyabbuh in the context of hadith and its implications for the new year celebration culture, hence contributing to a better comprehension of Islamic values in the society’s way of life

Reporting on sexual violence against women in online media, study of critical discourse analysis by Sara Mills

This research aims to reveal media bias representations in the discourse of reporting on sexual violence against women in the online media platform detik Jatim using Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis model. The study employs a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques include reading and note-taking, with data analysis stages comprising data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Primary data sources consist of news articles covering murders with a motive of sexual violence committed by a male in-law against a female relative, as reported in detikJatim's online media from November 1, 2023, to November 8, 2023. Secondary data sources are derived from relevant previous studies. The results of this research include 8 news articles depicting the positions of subjects-objects and the positions of authors-readers within the discourse. The diverse forms of reporting discourse range from motives behind the murders, investigator responses, perpetrator responses, responses from the victim's parents, psychological perspectives, perspectives from practitioners of women and child protection, perspectives from the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan), to personal messages from the victims

Factors affecting financial stability of sharia banks in Indonesia

To ensure the financial stability of Indonesian banks, especially Sharia banks, it is essential to focus on various factors and elements. This study investigates the endogenous and exogenous factors influencing the financial stability of Sharia banks in Indonesia. The study utilized data from the annual financial statements of Sharia banks in Indonesia spanning from 2010 to 2021. Panel data regression served as the analytical tool for the research. The findings indicate that the stability of Sharia commercial banks in Indonesia is influenced by both capital structure and credit risk. Financial leverage also affects sharia bank’s financial stability. While ownership distinguishes a bank in terms of organizational structure, it does not necessarily guarantee stability. Islamic commercial banks remain stable amid the COVID-19 pandemic, showing no significant impact on their overall stability. These findings will enhance bank understanding of the risks faced by banks and form the basis for new regulatory efforts to strengthen overall risk management, including liquidity risk and credit risk
