    No full text
The objective of this contribution is to draw up an inventory of online teaching during a period of confinement. It is about presenting the representations of a new experience, strewn with pitfalls, encountered by most university teachers and more particularly those of the department of letters and French language at Mentouri Constantine 1 University. Our approach is based on a questionnaire administered to these teachers, aimed at identifying the strategies deployed by them in order to make contact with their students, pass on teachable knowledge and assess knowledge. The results show  that the asynchronous mode dominates the other modes of distance education, no doubt due to the ease of use of the e-mail and the faculty site, excluding almost any form of real-time communication such as “chat” or videoconferencing, thus posing problems of monitoring and evaluation

Their priorities, and goals have gotten mixed up in the midst of the commotion, which eventually showed symptoms of compassion fatigue burnout. Through this article, we aim to suggest some strategies that could pave the way to begin a resilient process to help doctors overcome the pressures they constantly live in, by relying on their sense of self-compassion development. This article was based on the results of a considerable number of studies and research, which we summarize in seventeen studies, six of which were completed in 2020, four studies were completed in 2019 and three more studies were completed in 2018, and the rest of the studies varied between 2017 and 201

    No full text
After the spread of Corona virus, the Algerian government like many other countries has closed its universities. This crisis has led the ministry of higher education and scientific research to adopt online-courses. Formal learning has, most of the time, been associated to inside classroom practices and activities; however, little attention is given to learning outside the classroom in the absence of the teacher. Thus, this paper attempts to explore the effectiveness of distance learning as an alternative option to cope with this unprecedented situation and to develop learner autonomy. Two questionnaires were administered to 22 teachers and 72 students at Ahmed Zabana University of Relizane-Algeria- via email and Facebook. The respondents of this research include 10 teachers and 38 EFL students. Results have shown that though distance learning is an appreciated method to make students experience autonomy during this time, it is still difficult and challenging due to students’ psychological instability, teachers’ lack of online teaching experience and bad network quality

    No full text
This study aimed at identifying the main programs approved for the management of people with autistic disorders, their theoretical foundations, their mechanisms, their efficiencies, their commonalities and the differences between them. The results obtained showed that these programs, despite their common objectives in independence for the autistic child, his social integration and the important role of parents in the success of care, they differ in the methods of intervention; because behavioral referral programs depend on intensive intervention focused on undesirable behavior and skill acquisition, without paying attention to developmental differences; whereas developmental referral programs depend on non-intensive developmental intervention of the child and his abilities without paying attention to his lacks. In terms of effectiveness, results have shown that intensive intervention programs are more effective than others
