    Vacuum-plasma multilayer protective coatings for turbine blades

    The methods of creating the advanced nanomaterials and nanotechnologies of functional multicomponent coatings Avinit (mono- and multilayer, nanostructured, gradient) to improve the performance of materials, components and parts are considered. The vacuum-plasma nanotechnologies Avinit were developed based on the use of gas-phase and plasma-chemical processes of atomic-ionic surface modification and the formation of nanolayer coatings in the environment of non-steady low-temperature plasma. Considerable attention is paid to the equipment for application of functional multilayer composite coatings: an experimental-technological vacuum-plasma automated cluster Avinit, which allows to implement complex methods of coating, combined in one technological cycle. The information about the structure and service characteristics of Avinit coatings has a large place. The results of metallographic, metallophysical, tribological investigations of properties of the created coatings and linking of their characteristics with parameters of sedimentation process are described. The possibilities of parameters processes regulation for the purpose of reception of functional materials with the set physicochemical, mechanical complex and other properties are considered. The investigation of creating of multilayer protective surface coatings Аvinit based on Ti - TiN for turbine blades by vacuum-arc method was carried out. The influence of different methods and modes of vacuum-plasma treatment of coated surface of substrates to the adhesion value of nanolayer protective Ti - TiN coatings is studied. On the basis of carried out investigations the technology of coating the steam turbines blades for protection against flow-accelerated corrosions is developed. The issues of development and industrial implementation of the latest technologies for applying wear-resistant antifriction coatings Avinit with the use of nanotechnology to increase the life of various critical elements of steam and nuclear turbines are covered in detail. The book is aimed at specialists working in the field of ion-plasma surface modification of materials and functional coatings application

    Concept of freight wagons made of round pipes

    The purpose of the book is to highlight the results and features of the research carried out by the authors on the dynamics and strength of the main types of freight wagons, as well as tank containers made of round pipes under the main operating conditions of loading. Theoretical provisions, methodological foundations and practical solutions for the implementation of round pipes as bearing elements of bodies of the main types of wagons and tank containers are presented. The monograph is intended for scientific and technical specialists, whose activities are related to the design and research of the mechanics of structures of railway wagons, including scientists, designers, researchers, doctoral students and graduate students. Also, the results presented in the monograph may be of interest to specialists, whose activities are related to the design of tank containers. The monograph can be used as a teaching aid for undergraduates and bachelors of relevant specialties

Attention is paid to the development prospects of vacuum-plasma nano-technologies Avinit and expansion of these methods applications in mechanical engineering, aviation, power-plant industry, space industry and other fields of science and technology.     Applied problems of motion of mechanical systems under action of power loads

    The monograph is devoted to the development of mechanical systems with dynamic effects on processing media. A new approach and methodology is proposed, taking into account the influence of energy fields of physical and me-chanical effects, the transformation and inversion of types of energy exposure. The model of dispersed media under consideration in the range of the process of destruction, grinding and compaction is considered. The revealed changes in the parameters of subsystems: working media, mechanical systems, the process-es of their interaction are studied based on the consideration of their stress-strain state. The analysis of combinations and their influence on the intensity of phy-sical and mechanical processes is carried out. The intensification of physical and mechanical processes, methods and means of their creation are achieved by the formulated idea: systematization and complexity of approaches through a joint consideration of the mutual influence of the internal properties of the subsys-tems made it possible to identify the general laws of their changes and take them into account in the work process. The movement of the working media during high-speed and impact destruction with differentiation of the working area is de-scribed. Structuring of the shock process, the formation of entropy destruction, the use of self-organization and the evolution of geometric shapes are evaluated. The process of grinding materials by a vibratory jaw crusher is investigated and methods for determining the effective parameters and their operation modes are proposed. The process of compaction of the processing medium in the field of vibrations in the device with spatial vibrations is described. The laws of change in the device movement, taking into account interaction with the processing medium are established. As a research result, new properties of the behavior of discrete-continuous systems under power load are disclosed. For the first time, stresses and strains are taken into account as working bodies and media for creating energy-saving vibration systems for compaction of building materials. The conducted scientific study makes it possible to obtain the laws of change in the state of dispersed media under the action of power loads by mechanical sys-tems. Minimization of energy costs and increase the efficiency of work processes is proposed when implementing various technological processes

    Global Determinants of the International Movement of Production Factors: Economic-legal and Institutional Context

    Scientific research is devoted to current problems of the influence of globalization on changes in the international movement of production factors in the 21st century. Considerable attention is focused on the economic, legal and institutional aspects of the transformation of the international movement of capital and labor in modern conditions, taking into account the need to apply an integrated interdisciplinary approach to identify new phenomena and processes that occur in the global economic environment The state and trends of development in the organization of global production, investment and marketing in the context of destabilizing phenomena in the global economy, the strengthening of non-protectionist appeals in the world avant-garde countries to return production to the national territory and the exacerbation of social and economic problems caused by international migration are revealed. The authors are looking for answers to difficult questions about the opportunities for small open economies to be attracted to global value chains through the format of investment and contractual relations, to increase the level of localization of international and national production through import substitution, to optimize the taxation of entrepreneurial activities in a liberalized international capital transfer, transform the national regulatory policy as a mechanism that ensures the possibility of taking into account the imperatives of globalization and contributes to the protection of national economic interests, ensure the development of fair competition as a prerequisite for the country’s integration into world economic processes

    Budget Policy of Social Development

    The monograph is devoted to the development of methodological and institutional framework for the formation of fiscal policy to ensure social development. The essence and role of budget regulation in supporting the processes of endogenous economic growth are revealed. The experience of the implementation of fiscal policy in countries with developed and transformational economies is systematized. The directions of increasing the efficiency and strengthening the regulatory potential of the state tax policy are proposed. An assessment of the tax burden on labor and consumption in 2001–2017 is carried out; a comparative analysis of the values of the corresponding indicators in Ukraine and the European Union member countries is carried out. The factors that affect the fiscal significance of the value added tax, excise tax, income tax, personal income tax are identified. Provisions for enhancing the effectiveness of the institutional architectonics of the budget system are improved. Directions for improving the efficiency of budget expenditures are substantiated. The analysis of the influence of the main factors on the dynamics of changes in the ratio of public debt to GDP is carried out; it is established that inflation affected the most, and the exchange rate influenced the increase. An approach to assessing the state of debt security of the country is proposed, the conceptual framework for managing the budget deficit and public debt is defined. Provisions for the implementation of long-term budget planning and forecasting are developed. Institutional framework for the formation of the budget strategy is improved. The conceptual foundations of state financial support for human development are defined. A long-term budget strategy is developed, taking into account the cyclical nature of economic development. The conducted scientific research allows identifying the possibilities of positive influence of the budget policy on social development in the context of improving the quality of the institutional environment

    National Brand of Ukraine

    The monograph is devoted to theoretical, methodological and practical issues of Ukraine’s nation brand formation in the context of global competition. The public administration mechanisms in building the relations of the authorities with the public are considered as one of the components of the process of a nation brand formation. The methodical approaches to nation brands evaluation are determined. An estimation of Ukraine’s nation brand is made. The results of the analysis of Ukrainian exports dynamics are presented. The national goods export prospects are determined. The preconditions and purpose of Ukraine’s export brand development are defined. The analysis of brand protection policy in Ukraine, including the UATAG Ukrainian startup, which provides an innovative technology for branded goods protecting, is presented. The actual problems of formation of brand and branding strategies taking into account branch specifics are investigated. Facilitation for small entrepreneurship from the state is revealed due to increase of small businesses potential, their innovative activity, social responsibility to society, efficiency and effectiveness of their economic activity, which is the key to improving the macroeconomic situation in the country and one of the conditions for successful nation brand building. The monograph is intended for scientists, teachers, managers and specialists of enterprises and organizations, representatives of state authorities, post-graduate students, doctoral students and students of Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions
