Le Tiers-lieu, espace fabricant de l'urbain

International audienceLes rapports entre tiers-lieux et fabrique urbaine restent peu étudiés. Cet article comble cette lacune en présentant des recherches en urbanisme éclairant les enjeux spatiaux de ces espaces et leurs liens avec des concepts comme l’urbanisme transitoire, le coworking ou encore les lieux culturels. Cet article souligne la nécessité d’analyser ces espaces en tant que contributeurs de la fabrique urbaine, interrogeant leurs impacts sur la morphologie, les pratiques professionnelles et les politiques publiques. Ces espaces influencent la conception architecturale et urbaine, tout en contribuant à la professionnalisation des acteurs. Enfin, l’article explore les tensions autour des tiers-lieux, tantôt analysés comme produits de l’urbanisme néolibéral ou comme objets de récupérations politiques et commerciales

International audienceL’articolo contiene l’annuncio della scoperta di un nuovo testimone frammentario, conservato nel manoscritto Par. Suppl. gr. 675, del trattato De indolentia di Galeno (§§ 59-81), che, riscoperto nel 2005, era noto finora solo attraverso il manoscritto Thessalonike¯, Μονή Βλατάδων, 14 (sec. XV). Il nuovo frammento parigino, risalente a quanto pare al XIII secolo e proveniente dalla collezione di Minoïde Mynas, presenta un testo di qualità migliore rispetto a quello del codice della Μονή Βλατάδων, e conferma, fra l’altro, alcune congetture degli editori precedenti. Il testo trasmesso dal nuovo testimone appare, tuttavia, come una redactio brevior rispetto a quella nota dal manoscritto tessalonicense: l’articolo discute brevemente e in forma provvisoria il rapporto tra le due redazioni, senza pretendere di fornire, per il momento, una risposta definitiva su tale punto

International audienceCet ouvrage collectif fait dialoguer anthropologie et archéologie à propos d’une même population : les Mayas. Onze auteures apportent de nouveaux éclairages sur des pratiques de mobilités sociales et spatiales souvent méconnues ou ignorées, du Mexique au Honduras, depuis la période Classique jusqu’à aujourd’hui. Quels sont les motifs qui poussent les Mayas à se déplacer ? Comment leurs circulations imprègnent-elles physiquement les cités ? Dans quelle mesure leurs témoignages reflètent une réinvention permanente de leurs identités ? Quels sont les enjeux soulevés par la migration de cette population autochtone ? « Protect these two brothers with your hand » Flavius Stilicho : dynasty, configurations and reconfigurations of kinship in the midst of political crises

International audienceAlthough the assassination of Flavius Stilicho, generalissimo of the Roman armies, on August 22nd, 408, is a well-known event, the many facets of this important figure’s status mean that there are still a few grey areas surrounding him. The death of Theodosius I in 395 left his two sons and heirs, Flavius Honorius and Flavius Arcadius, orphans. The youth of the two Augusti forced their father to choose a tutelary figure for them. Stilicho was entrusted with important and prestigious military activities. Moreover, he was a fully-fledged member of the imperial family. The example of Stilicho and his tragic fate should enable us to reassess the relationship between kinship and power in the late Empire, and to reconsider the various forms and designations of kinship

Data set of the Seto Inland Sea Salt Producers Alliances - Japan - 1803-1888Present data set was produced in the course of the European Research Council funded research project entitled Beyond Eureka: The Foundations of Japan's Industrialization, 1800-1885 (J-InnovaTech) within the Horizon 2020 framework (2020-2027) and under GA no. 805098).. The goal of the overall project is to stimulate a shift in the approach to the study of Japan's early industry and industrialization process using history of technology approaches as well as selectively deploying quantitative historical methods. Project’s key projected intervention is in providing a more nuanced understanding of diversity and fine mechanics of innovation processesWithin this larger project, the goal of the present data set is to support and enhance research on the innovation in the salt industry in Japan between 1809 and 1888.
