Reef Guardian School Brand Style Guide

    Get PDF
The Reef Guardian School Brand Style Guide is published for use by schools involved in the Reef Guardian School program. This style guide provides information about the basic design elements and standards for a variety of applications of the Reef Guardian School initiative logo. Schools involved in the Reef Guardian School program have permission to use the logo on marketing materials and other collateral to support their Reef Guardian School activities. The visual elements of the Reef Authority’s Reef Guardian School brand include a logo, colour palette and a ‘look and feel’ which are all part of the publications, website, signage and branded clothing created. Using the visual elements of the brand consistently and across all Reef Guardian School activities strengthens the brand and extends the impact of the program

Whether you’re on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef or half a world away, the magic of the Reef connects us all. But the Reef is under pressure from many things, including climate change. It is up to us, no matter where we are or who we are, to do our part to protect it for generations to come. Everyday actions by everyday people will add up to a bright future for the Reef. That’s why we have launched the See the Reef. Love the Reef. Protect the Reef campaign. We need your help to share the message

Marine Monitoring Program Annual Report 2021-22 Water Quality

    No full text
The water quality component of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Monitoring Program has monitored and reported on the annual and long-term condition of inshore water quality in the Great Barrier Reef for the last 15 years. The program design includes the collection of samples along transects in the Cape York, Wet Tropics, Burdekin and Mackay-Whitsunday regions year-round, with higher frequency sampling during the wet season to better characterise this period of episodic river discharge. Satellite imagery and modelling are linked with in situ monitoring data to estimate the exposure of inshore areas to end-of-catchment loads from rivers in the Great Barrier Reef catchment
