    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran STAD Berbantuan Media Podcast Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Teori Asam Basa di SMAN 2 Langowan

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran STAD berbantuan Podcast terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yang dilakukan  Quasi experimental design yaitu pretest-posttest control group design, yang merupakan penelitian menggunakan dua kelompok. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas XI MIPA SMA N 2 Langowan dan sampel terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol masing-masing berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Hasil uji normalitas diperoleh nilai  0,778 > 0,05 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,187 > 0,05 untuk kelas kontrol artinya data untuk kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Untuk uji homogenitas diperoleh nilai 0,341 > 0,05  artinya data homogen. Analisis uji-t dengan sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000< 0,05, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya terdapat perbedaan pembelajaran menggunakan model STAD berbantuan Podcast. Terjadinya perbedaan ini diduga ada pengaruh penggunaan model Pembelajaran STAD berbantuan Podcast pada Hasil Belajar Kimia Siswa materi Teori Asam Basa kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 2 Langowan &nbsp

    Quinolones are important heterocyclic compounds in medicine and materials for DSSC or OLED. This study aims to make a quinolinone framework that has several functional groups. These functional groups can be coupled with various other heterocyclic compounds. The synthesis of the target compound consists of forming a quinolinone framework using phenyldiamine and ethyl aceto acetate via the Penchmann reaction then iodination using ICl. The Penchmann reaction succeeded in forming a quinolinone framework as indicated by shown a proton signal at  11.22 ppm. The iodination reaction was successfully carried out by adding iodo to the benzene ring and the appearance peak of (M+H) m/z was 300.9839 on mass spectroscopy. The compound 7-amino-8-iodo-4-methyl-2-quinolinone (compound 2) has been successfully synthesized. Compound 2 has 3 functional groups (amine, iodo and alkene) that can be used for coupling with the other heterocycles

    Sungkai leaves have bioactive compounds in the form of triterpenoids, alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolics, steroids and saponins.  This compound contains a chromophore group (conjugated single double bond) which is able to absorb ultraviolet light thereby reducing radiation to the skin.  The higher the value, the better it is used as a sunscreen.  The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the phytochemical test of the ethanol extract of Sungkai leaves (Peronema Canescens Jack) and the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) test of the ethanol extract of Sungkai leaves (Peronema Canescens Jack) in vitro. The SPF values ​​produced at concentrations of 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 ppm in ethanol extraction were 7.51;  15.93;  27.40;  34.87;  and 39.86.  Sungkai Leaf Extract (Peronena Cenescens Jack) can be used as a sunscreen ingredient, at concentrations of 200 ppm, 300 ppm, 400 ppm it is included in the suntan category (moderate to ultra protection) and in this SPF test the concentration will affect the resulting SPF value

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) Melalui Pembelajaran Daring Terhadap Hasil Belajar Termokimia Di Sma Kristen Dumoga

    The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model on Thermochemical Materials Through Online Learning at Dumoga Christian High School. This research was conducted in class XI Science at SMA Kristen Dumoga in the academic year 2021/2022. A total of 20 students of class XI IPA 1 were assigned as research samples. Based on the test data of the t-test hypothesis, the tcount value is 24,090 with a ttable value of 2,024. And the significant level used is = 0.05 with degrees of freedom n1 + n2 -2 (20+20-2) = 38. By looking at the values of tcount and ttable, we get tcount > ttable, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the increase test (N-gain) obtained 0.77 with high criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the online learning project based learning model on thermochemistry learning outcomes in Dumoga Christian High School.    *e-mail: [email protected]   Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) Pada Materi Termokimia Melalui Pembelajaran Daring Di SMA Kristen Dumoga. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XI IPA SMA Kristen Dumoga pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Sebanyak 20 siswa kelas XI IPA 1 ditetapkan sebagai sampel penelitian. Berdasarkan data pengujian Hipotesis uji t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 24,090 dengan nilai ttabel 2,024. Dan taraf signifikan yang digunakan yaitu α = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan n1 + n2 -2 (20+20-2) = 38. Dengan melihat nilai thitung dan ttabel diperoleh thitung > ttabel, artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan uji peningkatan (N-gain) didapat 0,77 dengan kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning pembelajaran daring terhadap hasil belajar termokimia di SMA Kristen Dumoga.                 &nbsp

    Cellulose is a biopolymer that is widely applied in various fields. Modification of cellulose is needed to increase the added value of cellulose. One of these cellulose derivatives is cellulose succinate. This study aims to synthesize succinic cellulose using succinic acid. This research covers the synthesis of cellulose succinate via esterification reaction with a variation of succinic acid (1.6%; 2.4%; 3.2% and 4.0%), DS determination by titration method, and characterization with FTIR. Based on the synthesis results, the optimum DS was obtained at 2.4% succinic acid (SS3) concentration, namely 0.692. The results of the characterization with FTIR also showed the presence of a C=O absorption band indicating the presence of cellulose succinate monoester

    Polimer bercetakan molekul adalah salah satu jenis material polimer sintetis yang punya kemampuan pengenalan spesifik pada molekul target. Jika dibanding dengan jenis adsorben yang biasa digunakan misalnya karbon aktif, polimer bercetakan molekul punya selektivitas lebih tinggi, serta pemakaian kembali yang lebih besar. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan pembuatan polimer bercetakan molekul untuk adsorpsi zat warna metilen biru dengan mengaplikasikan pada larutan dengan berbagai variasi pH dan waktu adsorpsi. Hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa pH kondisi larutan yang paling baik untuk proses adsorpsi yaitu pada pH 10 dengan persentase penyerapan sebesar 99,07 %, sedangkan waktu penyerapan yang paling optimal pada saat 90 menit dengan mencapai persentase penyerapan sebesar 94,20 %

    The Biodegradable Food Packaging with The Addition of ZnO Nanoparticles

    Zinc oxide nanoparticle properties that can improve the quality of biodegradable food packaging become the impetus to develop research on biodegradable food packaging with the addition of ZnO nanoparticles. However, it is not yet known whether research on this topic is still widely carried out or not. This study aims to know the development of this research topic from 2013 to 2022 through a bibliometric approach with computational mapping analysis using VOSviewer. The search for article data from Google Scholar database was carried out by entering a query language into Publish or Perish. There are 207 articles that meet the criteria after being filtered by reading the title and abstract. Based on the number of publications each year, research on this topic is relatively increasing. Based on three mapping visualizations from VOSviewer results, the relation of packaging to properties or capabilities, such as biodegradability, extending the food shelf life, and antimicrobial activity is still rarely discussed. These results can be a reference for researchers to develop research on biodegradable food packaging with the addition of ZnO nanoparticles, with a discussion focusing on these properties or capabilities

    ZEOLITE ADSORPTION MEASUREMENT TEST RESULTS WITH VARIOUS DATES OF CURRUMIN AS ADSORTATE

    The purpose of this study was to analyze and measure the intensity of light obtained through an LED flashlight emitted by a solution of curcumin and zeolite from the adsorption process. In addition, this study also aims to determine the appropriate isotherm model for this experiment. Variations in the dose of zeolite were taken to find out the big difference using the Lux Light Meter application. The method used is an experimental method, where the process that occurs is the light source from the sender stored in the cardboard will pass through a gap and also the bottle that has been filled with a solution of curcumin and zeolite. Then the light beam will be captured by the Lux Light Meter so that the value will be obtained. The results showed that zeolite carbon as an adsorbent was able to absorb turmeric or curcumin solution well. The equilibrium model used is Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Dubinin-Radushkevich, Flory Huggins, Flower-Guggenheim, Hill-Deboer, Jovanovic, Harkin-Jura, and Halsey. The Langmuir, Freundlich, and Halsey isotherms show success in describing this adsorption process

    Pengaruh Katalis Terhadap Rendemen Reaksi Transesterifikasi

    Research has been carried out on the effect of a catalyst on the yield of transesterification reactions. Pure coconut oil is made mechanically without heating using fresh coconut meat or what is called non-copra, followed by a base-catalyzed transesterification reaction using KOH and NaOH. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the catalyst on the yield of the transesterification reaction. The results of the reaction were analyzed by determining the physico-chemical properties and analysis of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-SM). The results showed that the average reaction yield with KOH catalyst was 74.3% and 70% NaOH catalyst. The most dominant GC-SM identification results were ethyl caproate 4.12%, ethyl capricate 4.99%, ethyl laurate 54.97%, ethyl myristate 18.49%, ethyl palmitate 8.13%, 9.12 octadecatrin-1-ol 5.24% and ethyl strearate 2.28%
