second of which is later-than the rest of the ms. Exact provenance
unknown; possibly a monastery near Reims, since the ms. had already
passed into the possession of a Reims church or community by the end
of the 13th cent. (Note on f.l, 13th c. hand: "Liber beate Marie Remensis";
the communion prayers added in the margin of the canon are
the same as those found in the 14th c. missal, Reims, Bihl. mun., ms.
220.)

was intended to serve as the model for the copying and correcting of
other mss.

of complete Mass formularies make up ff.221r-234r. From Vauclair
(Vallis clara), often spelled as Vauclerc, dioc, Laon; founded 1134,
