Experience-based Analysis Method - the Evaluation data

    No full text
The dataset contains the data that were created to evaluate the Experience-based Analysis (EbA) method. The data is being made public to act as supplementary data for the EbA method evaluation. The EbA method has been evaluated by the industry-oriented research and development project Pharaon. The aim of the Pharaon is to develop an ecosystem of technological solutions to improve the quality of life of older adults and their caregivers. The Pharaon project consists of five large-scale case studies or pilots. For the evaluation the pilot from Andalusia in Spain was chosen as case study. Seven features were extracted from the case study. The data fail “Case Study Features_Preconditions_Value” presents all the seven features, incl. quality goals and emotional goals. The data file includes 48 preconditions found for these seven features and comparable example situations found for the preconditions. The data collection contains a second file, “Feature_example” where one of the seven features illustrates the analysis with validation inputs and findings, and suggested actions

Data of catalyzing oxygen reduction by morphologically engineered ZIF-derived carbon composite catalysts in dual-chamber microbial fuel cells

    No full text
This dataset contains the data presented in the figures of pulbished paper "Catalyzing oxygen reduction by morphologically engineered ZIF-derived carbon composite catalysts in dual-chamber microbial fuel cells " Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering 12 112242 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jece.2024.112242) The electrochemical characterisation data, which was measured in University of Tartu Institute of Chemistry, is for Figures 4, 5, 6, S7, S8, and S9 and the nomenclature of the catalysts is the same as in the mentioned article

pKaH values and θH angles of phosphanes to predict their electronic and steric parameters

    No full text
Phosphanes have numerous important uses and at the same time are an important class of organic bases with basicities spanning more than 30 orders of magnitude. In many cases, their behaviour in specific applications depends strongly on their basicity. Basicities (pKaH values) of many phosphanes have been published but are scattered across different reports and there are prominent gaps in the availability of data. In this report, we present an extensive set of pKaH data of a most diverse set of phosphanes, both newly measured/calculated and collected from the literature. We demonstrate that pKaH values can serve as an alternative to Tolman electronic parameters (TEP values) in evaluating the electronic properties of phosphanes. Additionally, we suggest two easily obtainable parameters for assessing the steric properties of phosphaneswithout need for sophisticated calculations or preparation of metal-ligand complexes

Baltoscandian Middle Ordovician brachiopod oxygen stable isotope trends: implications for palaeoenvironmental and palaeotemperature changes

    No full text
Our dataset contain brachiopod and bulk carbonate rock stable isotopic data for oxygen (O) and carbon (C) from the Middle Ordovician succession from northern Estonia region for evaluating the Middle Ordovician palaeotemperature and palaeoenvironmental history. Combining the published and new δ13Cbrac and δ18Obrac data allow us to address chemostratigraphic correlation in the interval Middle Ordovician. The Baltoscandian δ18O data generally confirm a cooling trend from Early to Middle Ordovician documented by previous studies in different palaeobasins. A total of 50 brachiopod and 30 bulk rock samples were collected for this study from eight outcrops in northeastern Estonia

Parliamentary speech and media attention in Estonia, 2011-2019

    No full text
This data set includes the data that was used for the models that are reported in the paper "A Place to Speak and be Heard? Parliamentary Speech and Media Attention in Estonia, 2011-2019" that is set to be published in the journal Legislative Studies Quarterly. It contains daily information about the the MP, what they said in parliament and how many times their names were mentioned in Estonian media texts. For more information about the data and the analyses, please contact the authors of the paper/data set

Tool for the Experience-based Analysis (EbA) method

    No full text
This dataset contains a preliminary tool that is created to use Experience-based Analysis (EbA) method. The EbA-tool includes a page with tutorial how to use the method and a page how to use the tool. The dataset contains a fictional example, where a solution has been analyzed by EbA and a file with the full list of all 256 versions of combined answers that the validation with EbA method can give

Italy: Bibliographical database of Italian journalism and media research related to risks and opportunities for deliberative communication (2000–2020)

    No full text
The dataset is produced within the framework of the HORIZON 2020 project called MEDIADELCOM (Critical Exploration of Media Related Risks and Opportunities for Deliberative Communication: Development Scenarios of the European Media Landscape) in 2021-2022. The dataset is one of the 14 single-country data sets included in the consolidated file of country data sets (with 5623 entries), all in msw.xlsx format. All tables are searchable by 20 variables: full reference, year of publication, national/international publication, language, country the publication deals with, time of empirical data gathering, type of publication, open access/not OA, where referenced, focus on journalism domain, focus on media related competences domain, focus on media usage patterns domain, focus on legal and ethical regulations domain, type of the approach, original key words, main topic, comments, country. As the data has been gathered specifically about the research done in four mentioned domains concerning potential ROs emanating from the news media development for deliberative communication, this database does NOT cover ALL the academic publications in the fields of media and journalism research. Consequently, the above-mentioned conditions limit the generalizations and comparisons based on the current database
