Дидактические функции ошибок: как использовать «ошибки» италоязычных изучающих РКИ при освоении дейктических глаголов движения в русском языке.
The verbs of motion in the Russian language are a challenging topic for learners. Considering this matter from the researcher’s point of view, it is possible to analyse and question the process of learning these verbs and the difficulties involved. Why do we discuss about mistakes? It is because, from a didactic point of view, they are a complex element that hides contradictions manifested in all areas of linguistics. By making mistakes, a person can learn, but also reveals an inability to learn. Working on mistakes involves the teacher and the learner managing information considered incorrect,
identifying the mistake, controlling it, and transforming it into knowledge
Predicting university enrollment choices in Italy: a machine learning analysis of high school background and gender differences
This paper explores the influence of Italian high school students' proficiency in mathematics and the Italian language on their university enrollment choices, specifically focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) courses. We distinguish between students from scientific and humanistic backgrounds in high school, providing valuable insights into their enrollment preferences. Furthermore, we investigate potential demographic differences in response to similar previous educational choices and achievements. The study employs gradient boosting methodology, known for its high predicting performance and ability to capture non-linear relationships within data, and adjusts for variables related to the socio-demographic characteristics of the students and their previous educational achievements. Our analysis reveals significant differences in the enrollment choices based on previous high school achievements. The findings shed light on the complex interplay of academic proficiency, gender, and high school background in shaping students' choices regarding university education, with implications for educational policy and future research endeavors
Lithospheric features revealed by a new Moho map in the central-western Sicily Channel
A detailed Moho map is essential for understanding the deep structure of a given area, especially for a complex area such as the Sicily Channel, shaped by the Europa-Africa convergence. We built a new Moho map of the central-western Sicily Channel using a multidisciplinary approach, which comprises the analysis of crustal seismic reflection profiles and velocity models from multiple databases. We found two earthquake alignments that occurred in the study area from 1981 to the present that reach sub-Moho depths and through which we constructed two lithospheric seismogenic volumes (LSVs). We then related these results with the location of the volcanoes, the tectonic structures, and the rheological profiles present in the literature. This work aims to expand the limited knowledge of the geodynamic setting and lithospheric structure of the Sicily Channel. Furthermore, it can constitute a starting point for future works regarding the seismic hazard of the area

Archeologia virtuale: la ricostruzione digitale dei monumenti antichi
This paper deals with the methodology for the reconstructive study of archaeological monuments. This investigation methodology follows a workflow that includes data acquisition, data processing and data presentation through numerous case studies carried out within the activities of the Virtual Archaeology Laboratory of the University of Palermo
Polynomial codimension growth of superalgebras with superautomorphism
In this paper we present some results concerning associative superalgebras endowed with a superautomorphism of order ≤2. We characterize the superalgebras with superautomorphism with multiplicities of the cocharacter bounded by a constant. Moreover, we determine the characterization of the superalgebras with superautomorphism with polynomial growth of the codimensions and we give a classification of the subvarieties of the varieties of almost polynomial growth. Finally, we characterize the superalgebras with superautomorphism with linear growth of the codimensions
Magmatic volatiles control the sub-plinian basaltic eruptions at Ambae volcano, Vanuatu
The 2017–2018 eruption of Ambae volcano provided a rare opportunity to investigate gas emissions during a sub-Plinian basaltic eruption. Here we document the gas emissions during this eruption using satellite observation, alongside gas measurements and geochemical analyses. Our results indicate that the volcano released 3.3 teragrams of sulfur dioxide, 7.7 of carbon dioxide, 134 of water vapour, 0.2 of hydrogen sulfide, and 0,001 of dihydrogen, ranking Ambae among the world’s top volcanic gas emitters. Despite these substantial emissions, the relatively modest volume of 0.47 cubic kilometer of magma that fueled the eruption indicates a volatile-rich magma source. This enrichment is likely linked to the geodynamic setting, where subduction of the faulted, carbonate-rich D’Entrecasteaux Ridge, coupled with an influx of fertile mantle, fostered the formation of volatile-rich magma. High concentrations of volatiles, can drive substantial gas exsolution, increasing magma buoyancy, resulting in greater magma supply and faster ascent rates. Rapid ascent prevents volatile separation from the melt, resulting in powerful gas surges that drive the transition from effusive to basaltic sub-Plinian eruption phases
Brands, Museums, Cities. The Case of Fondazione Prada
This paper explores the relationship between museums, exhibition spaces and urban environment, focusing on the case of the Fondazione Prada exhibition venue in Largo Isarco in Milan. This site, aligning with contemporary consumption trends, presents contemporary artworks within a former distillery repurposed as an exhibition space. The combination of avant-garde architecture, high-profile permanent and temporary exhibitions, a bar and restaurant designed as standalone destinations, and a carefully orchestrated system of openings and closures in relation to its surroundings has transformed Fondazione Prada into a dynamic space frequented by both locals and tourists. Beyond its cultural appeal, the venue has played a pioneering role in redefining the identity of its neighborhood, catalyzing ongoing urban transformations
Valuing consumer preferences and motivations for plant-based beverages: A CUB model analysis
Food consumption trends have evolved significantly in recent years due to increased attention to environmental sustainability and the search for nutritionally balanced, health-beneficial food. In this context, plant-based beverages (PBBs) represent a rapidly growing segment. This study analyses the PBBs preferences and motivations of consumption, studying how socio-demographic characteristics influence purchase drivers and identifying the role of certification-related eating styles and habits in the importance attributed to PBBs characteristics. An online questionnaire was conducted in the South-East of Italy with a sample of 233 respondents. A methodology utilising a Combination of Uniform and Shifted Binomial random variables, the CUB model, was employed to assess consumers' perceptions across two key dimensions: feeling and uncertainty. Results suggest that the two most important PBBs attributes considered in the decision-making process were taste and expiration date; the main reasons for PBBs consumption were the presence of vitamins and minerals and beneficial health ingredients. Moreover, considering socio-demographic characteristics and the consumption habits as covariates, different profiles of consumers of this product emerged. This research fill gaps in the literature on consumer characterisation of PBBs and offers a broader perspective, including the examination of attributes where consumers are uncertain about the level of importance they attach
