The bachelor work focuses on the question of maintaining a religious identity in a multicultural society, namely today's Britain. Using Zadie Smith's novel White Teeth, it explores the conflicts that can arise during the coexistence of both eastern and western culture. It also looks at the differences between the first and second generation family members portrayed in the novel. Particular attention is also paid to the religious identity of the ethnic and minority groups living in British society. We choose Haier group and five years (from 2009 to 2013) to evalute financial health in Haier group. This thesis has five parts: first and fifth parts are the introduction and conclusion, second chapter describes the financial analysis methodology, third chapter is financial characteristics of the selected company and fourth chapter is fiancial analysis of the selected company. Though financial analysis we can acquire the information about Haier group's financial health during 2009 to 2013. This information can help investors, creditors shareholders or other individual and organization how to choose a suitable investment. Import 05/08/2014The main goal of this thesis is using the classic theory of enterprise value, the method of investigation and case studying to value a listed company, Dongfeng Motor Group. There are included into five parts in this thesis. First part, introduction is mainly showing the general structure and contents of this thesis, and it help to build a better understanding and learn how important the valuation is. Then the main valuation methodology part is followed. In this part, we will know how to value a company step by step. First at all, we will explain three kinds of ratio, solvency ratio analysis, liquidity ratio analysis and profitability ratio analysis in order to research the financial situation. Then we will choose the best suitable model to value the company after we analyze the financial situation. Third chapter is to describe the situation of the company. First as all, we will introduce the basic situation of Dongfeng automobile company. And according to analyze the development of domestic industry environment and international environment, we will study the present situation and future trend of domestic and global automobile industry. Comparing Dongfeng with other domestic and international auto companies, such as assets, profits, market shares and so on, we will know the disadvantage of the company and competitive advantage, then position future development. Chapter four is application of valuating the company. We will choose four years historic data from year 2009 to year 2012 and predict next six years in the future to calculate and analyze the financial situation. In this chapter, we will firstly use regression model to build up linear regression function to predict the trend of two variables, revenue of the company and GDP in China. Then we are able to predict each component of the balance sheet and income statement by comparing each items with the revenue. According to discounted cash flow model, we will have a valuation of the company. Furthermore, we will research more how the value change when we change other selected and important components due to sensitivity analysis. Last chapter is to conclude the company. Virginia Woolf and Victoria Sackville-West: Orlando as a reflection of their relationship

Virginia Woolf belongs to one of the most significant and original writers of the twentieth century. She was known for her feministic attitudes and denial of traditional gender roles as the social construct. She often criticized the unequal position of women in the patriarchal society and its homophobic tendencies. She used experimental approaches towards literature and writing such as so-called "stream of consciousness" in a form of inner monologue, thus she became the leading figure of the modernistic movement in Britain. The theoretical part of this paper deals with the person of Virginia Woolf as a writer and an intellectual. Her opinions about feminism, gender and androgyny are compared with the general atmosphere of the early twentieth century society. Further, the paper describes the relationship between Virginia Woolf and Victoria Sackville-West which was the impulse for writing the novel Orlando (1928). This novel was inspired by Sackville-West and the story of her life and partially reflected their relationship. The last chapter deals with the novel Orlando itself and how it reflects not only the affinity between Woolf and Sackville-West, but also Virginia Woolf's own thoughts and viewpoints concerning the ambiguity and complexity of gender and other topics such as artistic creativity, inspiration, importance of fame and meaning of human life in general.Teoretická část této práce se zaměřuje na postavu Virginie Woolf jako spisovatelky a intelektuálky.
