The paper discusses luxury and ordinary glass vessels found during archaeological excavations conducted on several plots on the right and left bank of the Warta river in Poznań. A majority of glassware was discovered in the Szyperska Street, 21, where a big refuse dump was situated. The present paper is based on glass dated from the late Middle Ages to the first half of the 19th century. Glassware from Poznań was classified into 3 groups: table glass, glass storage containers and pharmacy glass. There were fragments of beakers, goblets, tankards, one mug, bowls, jugs, decanters, big bottles, small bottles, one jar, ampoules, phials and one pestle. Table glass fragments showed the greatest diversity of forms. All vessels were made in two basic techniques: socalled “free hand” technique or by blowing into the mould. Some of discovered glass was probably made in Germany, Bohemia, Pomerania, Silesia, Little Poland or Central Poland. Many of them were produced in Polish glassworks

V daném regionu valašsko-lašském se nachází několik příkladů staveb, kdy architekti snažili se prosazovat trendy dané doby v návaznosti na přírodní charakter oblasti. Především používali jednoduché tvary, jednoduché dispozice, prosklené stěny, přírodní materiály. Architekt Dušan Jurkovič navrhl a následně realizoval komplex budov na Pustevnách pro Pohorskou jednotu Radhošť ve Frenštátě, turistické stavby a jejich zařízení: Turistická ubytovna Maměnka, jídelna Libušín, kolárka, zvonice, tělocvičné nářadí pro hřiště, orientační tabule. Tyto dřevěné stavby, realizované v letech 1898 – 1899, jsou příkladem secese podporována jednoduchými ornamenty

Analýza uživatelských požadavků byla zpracována pomocí UML diagramů. Von 2010 bis 2014 erfolgte die großflächige Ausgrabung einer spätlatènezeitlichen Siedlung der Przeworsk-Kultur bei Leimbach, Lkr. Nordhausen, am Nordrand der nordthüringischen Goldenen Aue. Es handelt sich um eine von mehreren Fundstellen im Landkreis Nordhausen, auf denen Keramik im Stil der spätlatènezeitlichen Przeworsk-Kultur den größten Fundanteil stellt und die sich unmittelbar mit gleichzeitigen Siedlungen des Kerngebietes der Przeworsk-Kultur vergleichen lassen.Gleichzeitig wird damit der Nachweis einer Migration von Siedlern der Przeworsk-Kultur während der jüngeren vorrömischen Eisenzeit in das nordthüringische Südharzvorland erbracht

The article presents the results of the study of the Funnel Beaker culture settlement at site Polesie 1, com. Łyszkowice. There have been recognised very damaged remnants of a settlement and campsites of Neolithic communities. The author of the study links them to the process of colonisation, which had started in Kujawy or eastern Wielkopolska

Manufacture of bells

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Výroba zvonů” obsahuje základní informace o historickém vývoji zvonů, akustických vlastnostech zvonů a jednotlivých procesech provázejících jejich výrobu. V práci jsou podrobně popsány jednotlivé fáze výroby a zařízení, které jsou k jejich vykonání nezbytná. V textu je také pojednáno o materiálech, které jsou pro výrobu zvonů používány. Nejvíce je v této části pojednáváno o zvonovině, neboť se jedná o nejlepší a nejpoužívanější materiál pro tyto účely.The bachelor thesis titled „Manufacture of bells” contains basic information about the historical development of bells, acoustic characteristics of the bells and particular processes accompanying their production. There are in detail particular phases of production and necessary equipment described in this work. The text also deals with the materials that are used for bells manufacturing. The analysis of the bell metal is the most discussed issue in this part, since it is the best and most widely used material for these purposes.
